Kurapika's POV
When we got there I saw Naruto on top of a huge toad. Woah. Since kit is like the size of kitten (like the size of Kilala from inuyasha) she was sitting on my right shoulder.
I sweat dropped along with Kit as we watch the three argued about something. I turned to Kit
"How about we ditch them and get some dangos for snacks?" I suggest
"Let's" she agreed and we went off to the dango shop
I bought lots of dangos and cookies of me and Kit. I was hopping on eating them with my new companion on top of a rooftop and watch the sunset. So both of us set off to find a perfect spot. The second tallest building is a hotel for travelers or important visitor. I made a chain cob web again and sat on it with Kit by my side. Both of us enjoyed our treats but I have a feeling I have to save some. Oh well. I save some 15 cookies and 10 dangos before am eating mine.
"This is really great bonding time Master" Kit said while swallowing her ball of dango.
"Yes. And call me Kurapika or just Kura chan since that's what everyone called me mostly" I said shrugging
"Okay Kura chan!" She said with glee I only laughed before munching my dango.
"What are you doing here?" A dark and demanding voice said from behind me.
I turned my head to look at Gaara who was glaring. I flashed next to him grabbing his wrist making him flinched in surprise and flashed to where I was earlier.
"Nee Gaara kun why don't you join us" I said and did a close eyed smile
"What are you doing here, Kurapika" he demanded annoyed
"Well.... I was planning on eating dango and cookies somewhere to watch the sunset so my feet take me here. By the way meet my new companion Kit" I motioned my little golden fox companion who just waved at us and went back on trying to bite the hard cookie it was adorable
"Want some? I saw your eyes lighten up by the mention of cookies" I teased. He rolled his eyes
"Why are you not scared of me? You should know I am a monster!" He raised his voice. I flicked his forehead and he just blinked before touching the place that I flicked
"Ow"
"Yeah feel the pain of my ear from your yelling" I joked
"Anyways. I wasn't scared of you Gaara. In fact you should be socializing with everyone and try to stop glaring your eyes off okay? I weren't intimidate by you either. You're strong Gaara. I know that. If you're asking me if I'm afraid of who? You or the tailed beast inside you?" I said pointing at him
"I am the Chain User, Gaara. I studied all chain techniques including the chains that could restrain a tailed beast so I don't have anything to worry about. All of the jinchuriki had been shunned and hated correct?" He flinched at that
"I have meet all of the 9 jinchuriki except Isubo since he was an actual tailed beast that I have meet face to face. He offered me to be his jinchuriki. And I told him I would be when I return. I know all about what's the life of a jinchuriki. But Shukaku have gone too far. He shouldn't be corrupting your mind with his blood lust. The 8th tailes or Oxtopus was really funny and love to rap. I did a rap battle with him and I lost. But I think the best one to talk about your jinchuriki problem is another jinchuriki who has that kind of problem" I said while munching my dango.
"There's another jinchuriki around here?" Gaara asked hopefully and out of curiosity
"Yes. You remember Naruto right? The one with blonde hair and orange jumpsuit" I described
"You mean that loud mouthed blonde? He doesn't seemed like a jinchuriki to me. He is the complete opposite" Gaara denied while taking a bite on his cookie
"Well you better believe it! He is the jinchuriki of the nine tails. He was shunned and bullied by the villagers, his parents died so he didn't have a chance to meat them making him an orphan. He doesn't know his parents name or maybe just his dad. You see his father is pretty famous and he has a lot of enemies so his father feared they will go after Naruto so they made his keep his mother's last name instead. Funny though since an Uzumaki was known for their red hair and Naruto had yellow blonde. Upon meeting you I thought you're an Uzumaki" I said
Me and Gaara sat there in silence. I sighed and activated my Scarlet Eyes. I turned to Gaara just when he turned to me. Both of our gazes are locked so I took this chance to enter his mind.
His mind scape is dark. I turned to Gaara who was standing beside me in confusion. I readied my chains. I turned to the cell Shukaku was in. I dead pan at his.
"Woah. Just like Oxtopus said. You look like an idiot" I said without thinking.
He got an anime vien and tried to lash out but I stomped my foot on the ground and chains shot up and tangled him before pinning him down. Gaara gasp in amazement. I walked towards Shukaku. He glared at me but I wasn't faze by it. I did the unthinkable I spread my arms wide before hugging his huge head. He seemed confused but squirmed
"Oh you're so soft and pretty" I cooed
"LET ME GO YOU HUMAN BRAT! I'LL KILL YOU FOR CALLING ME THAT!!!!"
"OH. Let me take a picture" I took a picture of him. His face shown horror while I fell on the ground laughing.
"Right! I forgot how fun messing with a tailed beast is! These if fun! Hey Gaara join us!" I called to the sweatdropping red head
"You have guts kid I like you so I won't kill if but if the picture goes out I will hunt you down"
"You we're cool?" I asked releasing him
"Yeah what ever"
"Nee..... Shukaku kun. Can you let Gaara sleep? Just let him experienced it once in a while. Need I remind you that he's a human not a demon. Geez you've gone too rough with him" I said
"What ever just this time brat"
"Thanks. See you later"
Me and Gaara finally got out of the mind scape
