Chapter 12

Kurapika's POV

            I woke up to find myself leaning against the railing. The sun is rising. I turned my head to the side to find Kit asleep. I felt a heavy weight on my lap. I looked down and smiled. Oh right. Gaara slept on my lap. I laced my fingers on his soft red locks. He looked peaceful and calm. I took a picture of him smiling. I took out a piece of paper and pen before writing down a note. I removed my jacket and folded it and slowly but carefully placed it under his head as a pillow. I folded the paper and placed it on his hand. I scoped Kit up and jump off the roof before jumping from roof top to roof top until I arrived at my compound. I took a quick shower. I change into a black crop top with fishnet underneath. Red skirt with black shorts underneath then black combat boots. I tied my hair on its usual bun. I went to my art room. I am planning on painting a picture.

            Two hours of painting randomly I stared at the picture and blushed. I just painted a picture of Gaara and I. He was smiling looking extremely happy while I did a close eyed smile with my hair down with a peace sign. I painted a kanji symbol on top that says Best Friends Till The End i smiled at my work. I placed it down to dry. I took another one and painted but this time I know what I'll paint.

            I giggled at the finish product. It was a kid version of Gaara with Shukaku in his arms who looked annoyed by Gaara hugging him. I set it out to dry. I am hungry might as well cook something.

            I cook some bacon and eggs and Kit came running and ate her share of food hungrily. I giggled and ate mine. I'm planning on visiting Lee today. And maybe I might bump into Gaara might as well make some cookies for him as well.

Time Skip

            I walked towards the hospital with a basket in hand. Kit was on top of my head. I let my hair down for today since it's been up for as long as I remember. People around gives me complements on how I look good if my hair is down and I thanked them. I reach the hospital when I heard Kit sniffed then jump off my head and ran inside

"Kit! Wait!" I called and ran after my Fox companion

            I heard a commotion. I saw Kit stood infrontnof the door. I picked her up. I heard yelling. I opened the door and froze. Lee was on the bed. Shikamaru and Naruto was confronting Gaara?

"What's going on in here" I demand. They all turned to my direction

"Eh? Who are you?" Naruto asked pointing at me

"Naruto it's me Kurapika" I sighed while flicking his nose.

"Ha???? Kurapika chan?! You look..... pretty!!!!" Naruto yelled. I winced

"Thank you. Why are you all yelling anyways?" I asked

"He was trying to kill Lee! Dattebayo!" Naruto pointed at Gaara angerly. I flicked his nose again but harder this time.

"Ow! What was that for, dattebayo?!"

"Its rude on pointing at people Naruto. You should know that. And stop giving him then looks that the villagers used to look at you before. You should know better!" I scolded him.

"Sorry Kura chan'

"Thought so. Here lunch" I gave him the bento that labeled Naruto and Lee his.

"Now bye! Me and Gaara are going now!" I grabbed Gaara's wrist and dragged him out ignoring Naruto's warning and protest.

"Forgive him Gaara. Naruto could be dense and ignorant sometimes. Here cookies just for you" I gave him a bento full of assorted cookies

"Thanks Kura chan" he smiled slightly

"Hey! What about me?!" I laughed and gave Kit her share

"Oh and Gaara here. From me to you. We're friends right?" I said handing him two scrolls

"Friends? You want to be my friend?" He asked in surprise

"Uh huh. We're best friends. Well I should be going I'll have to find Sasuke and see what he's up to. Later Gaara kun" I waved goodbye. He just nodded.

            I jump into the air and flashed next to Sasuke. Big mistake! He almost hit me with that lighting on his hand. He looked shock and so does Kakashi sensie. I flashed next to sensie before it hit me. The attack hit the boulder blowing it to pieces.

"What the hell was that?!" I shouted

"Chidori" Kakashi sensie answered

"Oh. Teach me to do it" I said

"What is your chakara nature?"

"Water, Wind, and lighting"

"It would take time to learn it a-" I cut him off

"Teach me the hand signs then" I said

"Fine"

            I put the basket down and copied the hand sign. Pretty soon the chicory formed in my hand. I grinned at their shock and surprised face. I speed off to a nerby boulder and smashed my attack. Cool it's even stronger like Sasuke's.

"How did you do that?" Sasuke asked in awe

"Looka like she's a prodigy" Kakashi Sensie nodded impressed

"Hm. Well lunch!" I gave them the basket

"Well I'll see you two later! Bye!" I ran around trying to find Jiraiya. I am positive he know the rasengan. Lord third told me.

            I searched for him and spotted him peaking in woman's hot spring. I grew a tick mark and kicked him on the side making him fly side ways.

"Tch. Another pervert" I said crossing my arms

"Well hello pretty lady h-" I glared at him activating my Scarlet Eyes. His eyes almost pop out of his sockets

"Not so fast. I am The Chain User. And i need your help" i said. He straightened up

"What is it my fellow comrade?" He said seriously fearing I might suck him out dry.

"I want you to show me how the rasengan works" I said

"Rasengan? The a dif-"

"Just show me"

"Fine"

            He made a rasengan without habdsigns since this technique doesn't even need hand signs just chakara concentration. I copied him and soon I have a rasengan on my hand. I smirked in victory. He looked surprise

"Thank you. I'll see you later Jiraiya sama" I said

"Wait! How did -"

"Same thing as I learned this technique" I showed him the kunai Lord 4th owned

"Minato's teleportation kunai. Just who are you?" He asked wearily

"I I am the last sole survivor of the Kurta Clan Massacre years ago. And the famous Chain User. I want revenge on the Phantom Troupes. But I have to be stronger" I said

"No way!"

"Yes way. Now if you'll excuse me I'll be somewhere else" with a yellow flash I disappeared along with Kit that was on my shoulder.
