The Chain User Nin

Chapter 13

Kurapika's POV

            I narrowed my eyes at my opponent. I wore the same outfit I wore on the preliminaries. This girl is weak I can tell.

"I-I forfeit! I can't win against her!" She said. People booed at her.

"Chain User winds by default"

            I frowned and flashed next to Gaara. I narrowed my eyes while watching every battle. Where's Sasuke? Kakashi sensie you better not ruined it for him.

            Somehow I got this weird feeling something bad may happen. I stroke on Kit's soft fur. I watched as Sasuke and Gaara fought. Shukaku what are you up to? I flashed next to sensie with my gaurd up. Then Gaara screamed about his blood. He's hurt! Then suddenly I saw feathers falling and my eye lids are getting heavy.

"Release" me and Kit chorused.

            I heard a loud explosion. Sasuke and Gaara are gone from the arena. Sound and Sand nins are attacking the village. I jump on the rooftop only to gasp in horror. A huge snake was wreaking the fences. I threw a kunai on its direction and flashed on the kunai. I jump on the snakes back and marked him. He hissed at me.

"Kura Chan you have to summon Hikari sama!" Kit yelled.

"Alright! SUMMONING JUTSU!" There was a large poof and then it revealed a huge white fox with 8 tails appeared not as huge as the nine tails but enough to defeat this snake.

"You summoned me?"

"Yes! I need your help to stop this summoning snake from causing more damage" I said

"You got it kiddo"

            I start sucking most of the enemies chakara dry and took the civilians to safety. Of course most of the nins and civilians thought it was the nine tails but they noticed the color and how it's protecting the village. I sucked another sound nin dry. I turned to the direction of Gramps. I have marked him so I flashed next to him and blocked the sword aimed at him by my kunai.

"Back off!" I hissed

"Oh what's this? The Chain User? It's a pleasure to finally meet you. You looked like a perfect vessel f-" I cut him off

"Well it hasn't been a pleasure on meeting you. And for the vessel? Over my cold dead frozen body" I growled

"Kura Chan. I want you to keep him in place"

"Got it! Chain Release: Chamber of Chains!" Chains shot after Orochimaru.

            I have to say he was good on dodging but not too long. Gramps already cast the jutsu on him. Orochimaru ran away in fear. I rushed to Graml and attempt to heal him but he stopped me.

"No. No Kura chan. If you do then Orochimaru hands will also heal and break the jutsu"

"But I can't let you die!" I cried

"It's my choice. Please Kura chan. Be strong and take care..... " then he went limp

            I clenched my fist. He trained me to be a medical ninja that can surpass Tsunade and can bring back someones life but I can't revive my sensie? Just why is that?! 

            I growled under my breath. I'm not strong enough. I have to be strong even if it means going rogue. I sprint to the forest and into the clearing. I stopped when I saw two Akatsuki members. Itachi nii and Kisame. I ran to Itachi's arms crying.

"Nii san. Why? Why can't I do anything right? I am trained to save lives yet even I can't save my master from Orochimaru! Why am I so weak?!" I sobbed

"I can help you Kura chan. But in return you have to join the Akatsuki" he said. I froze.

Join the Akatsuki? But I have to leave everything behind just to be strong? Should I? Yes. Yes I should

"Kura chan?" Kit said in concern

"You understand right Kit?" I sobbed

"It doesn't matter. You are our summoner we follow no ones orders but yours" she said loyally

"Thank you. I'll join but give me time maybe tomorrow midnight on training ground 12"

"Very well we'll be back in tomorrow night"

            They disappeared into the forest. I flashed to my house. I packed every necessary things I need and all of my clothes before sealing them in my scrolls. Tommorow is the funeral. I went to my bed before I cried myself to sleep.
