chapter 24.

Jazmin's pov
I had a great time spending the holidays with my family. Thanksgiving & Christmas were fun. I got to see all my family again. Right now I'm getting ready for the New Years party that Noah invited me to. I rather go to a party with Courtney or Mari instead but I guess not. I do miss Noah. I haven't seen him for three weeks. I sighed to myself and continued doing my makeup. Once I finished I quickly curled my hair and slipped on to my dress. (Pic above). I admired how it fit on me. I checked the time and it was 8:20 pm. Noah should be coming in ten minutes. I took a mirror selfie and posted it on Instagram with the caption ' see you soon 2016 💫'. Once I posted it I heard a knock on the door. I screamed slightly and quickly put on my heels. I grabbed my clutch and made my way to the door. I checked the peep hole and there was Noah looking handsome as always. I smiled on opened the door. "Noah!" I said tackling him into a hug. He spun me around and set me down. "You look beyond gorgeous babe." He said while looking up and down my body. I blushed and gave him a kiss. I closed the door followed Noah to his car. He opened the door for me and I got in. He got in the other side and started the car. "How far is this party?" I asked anxiously. "Like 15 minutes away. Don't worry Jaz. I'll be with you the whole time." He said grabbing my hand. I smiled and squeezed his hand. "So how was spending the holidays with your family." He asked. "It was fun I missed them a lot. I told them all about you. My little sister is actually a big fan of you." I said smiling. "Awe that's cute what's her name?" He asked. "Nicole. But we call her nikky." I said. He smiled. "We're here." He said parking the car. I looked over at the window and it was a full house. People were drinking everywhere. I got out of the car and waited for Noah. He held my hand and pulled me to the house. I'm really getting weird vibes. As we entered, the smell of liquor filled my nose. I cringed at the people making out everywhere. I wish I was with Courtney or someone. We made it to the kitchen. "You want a drink?" Noah asked. I was debating whether I should drink or not but fuck it even though I'm 19 but I'm pretty sure everyone here isn't 21. "Yeah fuck it it's the last day of 2015. " i yelled over the music. I'm going to regret this tomorrow. Noah smiled at me and poured cherry vodka into two red cups. I drank the vodka and it burned my throat but I liked it. I quickly drank all of it and so did Noah. I poured myself more and drank it.
After 3 or more cups later, I already felt drunk. "I need to take a piss I'll be back babe." He said. I giggled. "I'll be right here waiting for you." I yelled over the music smiling. I checked the time and it was already 9:30. Damn we spent and hour drinking. We wild af. I laughed at the thought and poured myself another drink. About 5 minutes passed and I was starting to get worried. He's probably just looking for the bathroom. I made my way to the couch and sat down. Another five minutes passed and I started to worry more. I can't think straight. This drunk guy came over and sat down beside me. "What's a pretty girl like you sitting here alone?" He slurred and was getting close to my face. "Fuck off!" I said while pushing his face away. I got up and stumbled towards the stairs. Damn the drunk me is wild. I laughed at the thought and started to look for Noah upstairs. I drank the rest of the liquor from my cup and threw to the floor. "Noah!" I yelled. I checked the first bedroom and some couple were fucking. "Oops my bad." I said while giggling. I checked the next few rooms and he wasn't in there. Why is this house so damn big. I stumbled my way to another bathroom but he wasn't there either. Then came the last room. I put my ear next to the door and hear kissing sounds and silent moans. My heart immediately dropped. No that can't be Noah. He wouldn't do that. I opened the door and turned on the lights. "Noah?" I said quietly. "Oh shit." I heard him say. What. The. Fuck. Tears immediately start pouring out from my eyes. "How could you." I yelled. "Why the fuck are you in bed with another girl!" I yelled. Suddenly I'm not drunk anymore. Adrenaline starts to rush over my body. I looked over to the girl and she had her face covered with the sheets. "Baby listen, I was drunk and I was looking for the restroom and-." He said getting closer. "Don't baby me asshole. And let me guess you thought that girl was me? Noah she fucking has a black dress with blonde hair. You obviously weren't drunk! You only drank 2 fucking cups while I drank more than 4. This was your little plan huh? Take me to a party where I know no one and make me drunk so you can fuck another girl!" I yelled my lungs out. He grabbed my hands but I pull back. "Don't fucking touch me." I said. I went over to the girl and pulled the sheets. She was still in her bra and panties. I felt a little relieved. "Why are you still here? Get out!" I angrily said while throwing her dress and heels at her. She left without saying anything. "And you. Don't come up to me with excuses. Don't ever speak to me again. We're done." I yelled. "Jaz please listen." He begged. I ignored him and closed the door in front of his face. I ran downstairs before he could catch up to me. This doesn't seem real. Tears unwelcoming pour out of my eyes. I checked the time and it was 11 pm. I ran out of the house. My heart was racing. My head was pounding. I can't even think straight. What the fuck just happened? I called Courtney. No answer. Olivia? No answer. Wes? No answer. "Fuck my life." I yelled. Mari popped up into my head and I immediately call her. "Hello?" I heard. "Mari! You have to pick me up please." I sobbed. "Jazmin what's wrong where are you?" She said worriedly. "I'm at at a party I just need to get out of here before he finds me." I said. "What before who finds you?" She asked. "Just come quick." I tell her the address and hang up. I'm so stupid for even coming to this party. I knew I should've went with Courtney or someone else. I sat on the curb, took off my heels and cried until Mari came.
About ten minutes later I heard a car pull over. I looked and Mari was getting out of the car with a dress. She must've came from a party. I stood up and tried my best to not fall over. "Jazmin what's wrong?" She asked giving me a hug. "Have you been drinking?" She asked. I nodded and cried into her shoulder. We went inside her car. Mari started to drive. "Here chew this in case we get pulled over." He said while handing me mint gum. I started chewing it. "Noah cheated on me." I said quietly. She slammed on the brake. "He cheated on you!? That little piece of-" I cut her off before anything. "Mari please don't just take me home or something." I said.  I told her what happened. "You are not going home and miss New Years just because of some boy. Anthony is having a party & everyone one is there. I'll fix you up here I have some makeup." She said. I gave her a small smile. I looked at the mirror and saw my face. It was red. Mascara and eyeliner running down my face. I cringed and closed the mirror. "Okay we're here." She said parking the car. Mari started fixing my makeup. "Are you still tipsy" she asked. "After all that happened, I think I'm sober." I said. "Okay done." She said. I looked at the mirror and my face was back to normal. "Come on its 11:30. Almost 2016. " Mari said getting out of the car. I sighed to myself and got out of the car. "How do I look?" I asked while straightening my dress. "Sexy as always." She said. I chuckled. "Who's here?" I said walking towards the door. "Just the whole smosh crew." She said. I sighed in relief. Mari knocked on the door. Keith opened the door. "Ayee Jazmin you made it!" He said while giving me a hug. I tried to give him a smile but I just couldn't. I walked inside and saw everyone sitting at the couch playing cards against humanity. I sat down next to Courtney. "Jaz I saw your missed call. Sorry I couldn't answer. Are you okay?" She asked quietly. "What? Oh yeah I'm fine. I just wanted to see where you were." I lied. I forced the tears to not come out. "Hey Jazmin where's Noah?" Olivia asked. "He's at a party." Mari answered for me. I nodded. Courtney seemed suspicious. "Without you?" Shayne asked. I nodded and stayed quiet. "I'll be back." I quietly said. I went to the bathroom. I looked at the mirror and looked at myself. Tears were forming in my eyes. I grabbed toilet paper and gently dabbed my eyes without ruining my makeup. My nose was runny. My cheeks were stained from tears. I looked through my clutch and found foundation. I lightly put some over my cheeks and left the bathroom. I went back to the living room and sat at the same spot besides Courtney. "Are you sure you're okay?" She whispered while rubbing my back. "Yeah I'm sure." I lied and gave her a fake smile. I know by the looks of everyone, they're suspicious because I'm not myself. If Noah was here with me I would be yelling, playing games, talking but right now I'm sitting here quiet by myself. I sighed to myself and payed attention to the game. "Guys it's 11:55. Five more minutes until 2016!" Ian yelled. Everyone cheered except for me. I spent the last day of 2015 dealing with a boyfriend cheating on me. Joven turned on the tv and put the countdown. I checked my phone and had 10 missed calls from Noah. I rolled my eyes and went on snapchat. "2 more minutes!" Olivia said. Keith handed me a glass of champagne and smiled. I gave him a small smile. Everyone had there glass of champagne in there hand. I looked around and Shayne & Courtney Mari & Wes Olivia & Anthony were together. We stood around the tv. "20 more seconds!" Lasercorn said. I quickly went on snapchat and prepared to record. "5, 4, 3, 2, 1! Happy New Year!" We all cheered. "Happy New Years motherfuckers!" Keith said to the camera. I laughed and recorded everyone else. I posted it on my story and drank the champagne. We all exchanged hugs. I'm sad I didn't get my New Years kiss but oh well. Five minutes passed and I ordered an Uber. It'll be here in ten minutes. I read the screen.
Ten minutes passed and I got a notification saying that my Uber was here. "Guys my Uber is here I'm going to go now." I said. "You're leaving already?" Wes asked. I nodded and gave everyone a hug. "Let me know if you want me to beat someone up for you." Shayne said as he hugged me. I smiled and nodded. "Don't do anything stupid. " Mari said I nodded and headed out to my Uber. I gave the man my address.
Once I got to my apartment building, I payed the guy and got my keys out. I opened the door and went inside the apartment. I closed the door and break down crying. I slide down the door and continued crying. Tears were coming out of my eyes nonstop. "How could I be so stupid." I said to myself. I managed to get up and walk to my room. I took off my dress and wore a over sized t shirt. I went to the bathroom and took my makeup off. I padded over to my bed, got in and cried myself to sleep.
