Okay, Hi! I really didn't want to do authors notes (A/Ns) because... Idk I thought it would make it more professional? You might have seen this as The Story Book Ending or The Kids Who Saved the World. I didn't think those titles fit. Also you might have seen the cover as a black and white picture of a girl posing dramatically (yea that was me please burn the image k thanks) Or a dramatic picture of a tree (wattpad filters are hella cool jk) I'M SORRY I'M RAMBLING BUT I NEED TO CONNECT TO YOU READERS. And I don't update often but of course if you tell me to, I'll fangirl and write and screw homework, but otherwise I kinda do it after like a YEAR LONG HIATUS.

Anyways, to you newbies: Hello I am Jasmine and I will be your Author for this book. If you look to your left and right you'll find emergency fangirling inhalers and stress balls are located under your seats. No rudeness or hate is allowed on this story so be kind to your fellow readers. The comment button is above your seat next to the reading light if you need assistance of any sort.

To those of you who have read this, I recommend re-reading it because I've made some changes.

I used the app PicsArt to edit the cover, but if any one is good then I'll see about changing it!

But yeah there is a lot that's going to be different because I started this in 2012 when I was in seventh grade. I listened to kpop when I started this. I was 13. I didn't even have braces yet. Lord.

HEY YOU. THE ONE WHO SKIPPED THAT LONG STUPID A/N.

Hi I'm Jasmine I don't update frequently this used to be The Storybook Ending and The Kids Who Saved the World and also the covers have been changed. WARNING: fangirling ahead ( I hope) Thanks continue.

Post End- Day

Adam was sitting on his mattress. The fever was horrible. They were going to perform a procedure on him in a few hours to remove brain cells in hopes that the disease, too, would also be removed. Adam wouldn't be depressed. He also wouldnt remember his past.

He wouldn't recall his sister or how she always ate the crust of the pizza first, insisting she saved the best part for last, or remember his father and how he used to play baseball and collect cards, or love his mother with the kind heart to lend anyone a helping hand, once letting a hobo sleep in the guest room for a week.

Adam wallowed in his misery, missing his sister, his parents, and his friends. He missed his old life- his life from before. He liked to think that they all got away, everyone that mattered. It helped him, sometimes. It eased the constant ache he felt in his chest- but there was always the little voice of reason in the back of his head telling him it was highly unlikely.

The beginnings of a headache began to frustrate him and a wave of rage washed over him. How had this all happened? Who had let the world get this way? He sat in anger and threw himself backwards, lying flat on the mattress on the floor below, grasping at his shaggy brown locks- he needed a haircut, but they hadn't obliged him that courtesy. He probably had also wrinkled his hospital gown- he was sure he'd get an infraction for that.
