Leila's POV:
Today is the day. It's my wedding day. Well, more like Miles and I's wedding day, but you get the picture of it. We decided to have our wedding at a country club, under a big white tent. Nothing too big or fancy. Just a little and perfect wedding for us. We invited our family and friends, but mostly friends because Miles was having issues with his father and I don't know where my parents are. But, I didn't mind it one bit.
My friends helped me get my hair and makeup done before the ceremony would begin. My hair was braided on the side and had white flowers braided into it. It was a hairstyle that not only showed my long hair, but it was a casual but elegant hairstyle.
Once my hair and makeup was done, my friends helped me into my wedding dress. Miles' mother, Marry, took me shopping for a wedding dress one day and I came across the most beautiful and sadly expensive dress that I could find. It was very beautiful and had many silver gems on it. I just had to have the wedding dress, even though I could afford it. So, Marry bought the wedding dress for me to have. I couldn't be more happy and honored to have her do that for me.
I was standing behind a door, that would lead me outside and down the aisle to Miles. I peeked out the door and saw two sides of chairs lined up in rows. They were all filled with our friends and loved ones. I looked down at the end of the aisle and saw Miles, standing in front of a beautiful wedding arch. He looked so handsome in his suit, almost as if he was a different man. My stomach was beginning to fill with butterflies, while my heart started to pound faster, to where I couldn't hear myself think. I wasn't getting cold feet but I was scared.
Then, all of a sudden, Marry come up behind me.
"Leila, is everything alright?" asked a concerned Marry.
I nodded my head and said, "Marry, I am so nervous right now."
"Its okay, Leila." replied Marry. "Everyone gets nervous on their wedding day, its normal."
I looked up at Marry and smiled. She was always nice to me. I felt like she was my mother because she took me under her wing since my mother isn't present.
"Marry, would you mind walking me down the aisle?" I asked.
Marry looked shocked. I could tell that she wasn't expecting me to ask her that. But, I meant every word I said. I couldn't walk down that aisle alone. I needed someone to do it with me and since my parents aren't here, I wanted Marry to accompany me down the aisle.
"I would be honored." answered Marry.
I took Marry's hand and we opened the door together. I looked at the end of the aisle, at Miles. Marry and I began walking down the aisle together, hand in hand. With each step I took, my nervousness began to fade and my excitement grew.

Miles' POV:
The ceremony had just taken place and now it was time for the reception. Everyone was making their way to the white tent, that was breath taking. There were chandeliers hanging from the ceiling and many tables spread out underneath. Everyone took their seats and the waiters began handing out food. Leila and I took our seats at the bride and groom table.
After everyone ate, the dancing began. Leila stayed at the table while I went to the dance floor with my mom, to have our mother-son dance. I felt bad that Leila's parents weren't here today, but she told me she was okay with it. So, I took her word for it and went along with the day. After the dance with my mother, Leila came over to me so we could have our first dance as a married couple.
I put my left hand on her back, while I held her left hand with my right hand. We began dancing together and others slowly joined us on the dance floor. I am so lucky to have Leila as my wife. She is the one person I love more than my mom. I can't imagine my life without her and now I won't have too.
