his first reaction was to grab her, but his position told him he couldn't do so. they just shared a long stare. venus was frozen in her spot, struggling to move, scream, hit, or do anything.
it was like it wasn't real life; like the whole scene was only a painted picture someone could hang on their wall and admire greatfully.
so, in a desperate act, the man grabbed venus's foot, making her collapse to the hard floor. her back made impact with the cream colored floor with a loud 'smack' and the air was knocked out of her lungs. her head hurt, and all went black.
