Rin's P.O.V.

I looked in the fridge for eggs, while Itachi cooked bacon on the stove. Today is the day that Naruto, Sasuke, and I graduate from the academy, so Itachi and I decided to make a special breakfast for everyone. Normally, we get up and make breakfast anyways, but we decided to do a little extra today. I pulled the eggs out, as well as some tomatoes for Sasuke. I turned to Itachi, and he flashed me a quick smile before focusing on the bacon again, while I got the eggs ready to make scrambled eggs. I tried reaching for a pan, but found I couldn't reach it. I frowned, and tried jumping a bit to reach it, but to no avail. I was about to jump again, when two hands grabbed me around my waist and lifted me on a pair of shoulders, and I squeaked.

"You could have just asked for help, you know," Itachi chuckled, while I reached for the pan on my new perch. I succeeded in grabbing it, then passed it down to Itachi who set it on the counter. I then proceeded to jump off his shoulders, and like when we first met, he caught me. I looked up into his onyx orbs and wrapped my arms around his neck, so I could pull myself up to give him a kiss, which he gladly returned. We parted, and my head rested on his chest.

"Still mine," I whispered, and he gave me a smile back.

"Still yours," he replied. We started leaning closer to each other, and were about to kiss again, when a cough was heard. I groaned and rolled my eyes, and we turned to the source of our interruption: Shisui.

"No PDA when I'm present. Or this early in the morning for that matter," he said with a stupid grin, and I scowled at him.

"Why. Why do you always interrupt." His idiotic grin grew wider, causing my frown get larger as Itachi set me down and returned to cooking, possibly to avoid getting in between me trying to kill Shisui this morning.

"Because it's my job. And you're twelve here. And you should wake up your brother and Sasuke. If you all want to be on time for your exam, you'll have to leave in a half hour," with that said, he left to the living room while I trudged to Naruto and Sasuke's room. I kicked open the door, quite loudly at that, and the boys flew ten feet in the air while I chuckled at them. Once they landed back on their beds, I spoke.

"Good morning, boys! Breakfast is ready, so unless you want it cold, I suggest you hurry!" With that I left the best friends to scramble around their room getting ready. Returning to the kitchen, I saw all the plates at the table set up, and all the food was ready on it. I took my chair, which was across from Itachi and to the left of Shisui, who sat at the head of the table. Naruto sat to my left, across from Sasuke. Shisui and Itachi were already in their chairs, waiting for everyone else.

"So are you nervous for the test?" Shisui asked, and I sent him an 'Are you serious?' look, causing him to chuckle.

"No I'm not, considering I know what it is, and I made sure Naruto would be prepared for this too. Why did you even ask, Shisui?" I said, and he was about to respond, but Itachi interrupted.

"Sasuke and Naruto are almost at the table," he said, stopping our argument about how the future works, seeing as still only Itachi and Shisui knew. As Itachi said, both boys appeared at the table in a second, grins on their faces as they looked at the food. I smiled at them; they really had become my family.

"Dig in everyone!" I exclaimed.

Sasuke and I sat at a desk, waiting for our names to be called so we could take the test. Naruto sat with Hinata, and I grinned looking at them. After Hinata's 'gift', she and Naruto got together, making me extremely happy. He looked so happy with Hinata, and vice versa. I'm glad they were happy together, and that Hiashi had no problem with Naruto hosting half of Kurama. However, most of the class were not happy with me, for either A.) sitting next to one of the last three Uchiha/Sasuke-kun(ugh, fangirls), or B.) their parents told them I was a monster. It didn't bother me much, but what happened next did.

"What's that delinquent doing here? They're probably just going to fail him, along with his sister," I heard one of the fangirls say. It sounded like Sakura, but I wasn't sure until I turned around and saw Ms. Billboard Brow herself glaring at me.

"Is there something you'd like to say to me, Sakura?" I asked, keeping my voice as pleasant as I could, which was difficult because they were insulting my brother. She kept up her glare, and let a smirk fall on her face.

"Yeah. You and your idiot brother are nothing, and you'll never be important to anyone," she sneered, and the room suddenly dropped a few degrees as I slowly got up from my seat and walked towards her. The whole room's attention was on me. Good, the rest of them needed to see this. I stood five feet from her, and she still didn't seem to notice the obvious.

"Sakura, sweetie?" Immediately after I said that, I withdrew one of my fans, slowly opening it in front of my face, and sent wind chakra through it. I waved it towards her with a flick of my wrist, and one of my weakest attacks sent her flying into the wall. I fanned myself, blocking the sadistic smirk on face from view, while I slowly walked towards a terrified Sakura. She had shrunk down to the floor, as if doing that would hide her from my sight. Pathetic. I stood over her shaking figure, my eyes ice cold with no compassion in them as I glared at her. I think I sent fear into the hearts of everyone in the room.

"Sakura, I don't give a damn what you call me, your opinion of me doesn't matter. But I won't let you insult my brother. He's no delinquent, nor a monster. He's the best brother a person could have, the most compassionate human being I know. So don't you dare go making judgements about him, based on petty rumors the village has spread because their too oblivious and ignorant of the truth to learn it." I paused my tirade to lean closer to her face, and rest the blade of my fan against her neck. I could hear how loud her heart was pumping in fear, and my face became colder than it already was, causing her trembling to stop, because she was now paralyzed by fear. Speaking in a low tone that could be heard from everywhere in the room, I spoke the end of my speech. "You can't say anything, Sakura, until you learn how to back it up."

With that I pulled my fan away, and confidently strolled out of the room keeping my fan close to my face, lightly fanning myself, made four shadow clones, and walked into the test room, only to see a shocked Iruka and an angry looking Mizuki. I stuck my hand out to the academy instructors.

"I made the clones. Give me my headband," I said in a monotone, making Iruka look at me in concern. I knew what he was worried about, but I wasn't in the mood to deal with people. This was one of the few days that reminded me why in my original life I hated people. I just needed to get away for a day. "I'd rather not talk about it, Iruka-sensei," I said, and he nodded before handing me a black headband, which I tied around my thigh, then turned to Mizuki. "Don't even try, Mizuki," I spat his name out as if it were venom. "I won't hesitate to kill you if you go through with your plan." I then turned and walked out, finished with my threatening for the day. I just needed a break from people, because I forgot how infuriatingly idiotic and compassionless they could be. I ran to the house, a blur to anyone who saw me, and stopped once I reached it. I went inside, and grabbed supplies to write a short note for whoever read it first.

I'll be back tomorrow morning. Don't worry, I'm fine. Sorry if I scared you guys in class, or when you likely couldn't find me at first. Naruto, if you're reading this, don't trust Mizuki, no matter what he says. See you in the morning. -Rin

Once that was done, I set it on the counter, and left the house, locking the door behind me, to disappear for one night.
