dear darling,
i remember the first time i called you darling. you and i were in the coffee shop and you were ordering your peppermint one, the one i stuck my nose up to. the peppermint one was really icky, but you didn't seem to think so. i remember telling you how icky it was, but you just scoffed. "ugh, darling, your hot chocolate is icky" and i froze.
not because you told me that the best drink ever was icky, but because you had a petname for me. since it hadn't been too long since we'd started dating, you were still adamant on calling me by my name. even though whenever you said my name i'd fall to my knees, i loved it more when you called me darling.
"no way darling,"
that was my reply to you. and judging by the smile that had taken over your face, you liked being called that like i had. you did blush, then, and it was literally the most adorable thing i have ever seen. you were so adorable.
after that, my goal was to make you blush as much as you could. it wasn't hard, darling, because every time i called you that, your cheeks would go quite red. i know how much you hated it, how easily you blushed. but if you saw yourself in my eyes, you'd see how gorgeous you looked.
reason six why i loved you: your blush
love, me
