9. Stepping Into The Unknown.

Arabelle's POV:
Last night Kellan called to let me know we were going on a trip today. Don't ask me why, when cause I'm just as confused as you are. The conversation went something like this:
Flashback:

Arabelle: "Hello?"
Kellan   : "You don't know who I am, but I'm coming to kill you."

Arabelle: "Who the eff are you?"
Kellan    : "Its a shame you know that you don't recognise your boyfriend. I'm hurt."

Arabelle:" Ohhh! I'm sorry, but in my defense I didn't have your number."
Kellan   : "The reason why I did it."

Arabelle: "Quick question, how did you get my number?"
Kellan.  : "I have my ways."

Arabelle: "Your ways, mean you picked it from the school file, or asked my parents, you being the unwanted tutor shit."
Kellan  : "I prefer the second to the latter. My bad."

Arabelle:" Didn't realise I was in love with a stalker."
Kellan.  : "Didn't realise I was in love with such a smartass."

Arabelle: "I know you love me."
Kellan   : "Sadly I do, with all my heart I do."

Arabelle: "I love you too, more than you'll ever know."
Kellan.  : That's kind of impossible.❤

Arabelle: "Now the reason you called please?"
Kellan.  : "Ahh! Yes. We are going on a trip tomorrow."

Arabelle : "Trip? What trip?"
Kellan     : "A romantic trip just you and me. Alone."

Arabelle: A trip with you? Just great!
Kellan: Hey! I can be good company you know ;)

Arabelle: /-:
Kellan.  : "Hey! Want me to come over and shut your smart mouth? Trust me I enjoyed it the last time, and I'll do it a thousand times."

Arabelle: "Okayyy. Keep believing yourself babe ;)"
Kellan.  :     oo
                     ○

Arabelle: ♡
Kellan    : "Just be ready tomorrow yeah?"

Arabelle: "Do I have a choice?"
Kellan.   : "I love you Ara."

Arabelle: "I love you too❤"
Kellan    : ❤

So now I stand waiting for Kellan outside my door. He rushes out seconds later fumbling looking like a mess. A hot mess. Not that I am complaining.
"Hey." He says smile wider as he got closer so much that I could see the corner of his eyes crinkle which leaves me wondering how can he love me?
"Hey." I smile back wider.
"Ready to go?"
"Mr. Woods this better be good. "
"Trust me it will." He says kissing my head in reassurance. We stopped at the boundaries of the woods.
"So this you idea of a romantic trip? A walk in the woods? Really?"
"Shut up Ara."
"So much for you and me. Alone."
"Well we are alone now aren't we?"
"I pinned you as the romantic type you know candlelight dinner on a roof, a romantic walk by the beach. That sort of a thing. A walk in the woods for a first date? Maybe your not romantic at all. Such a shame."
"We can have all the romantic dates after this. I promise. Also Im a die hard romantic don't test me."

We walk to the woods which wasn't far, as we got deeper,the air got calmer, the surroundings quieter. Kellan held me closer as if I wasn't closer already leaving not even an inch of space between us. We walked in silence, a comfortable one where we did not need words to speak.
We reached a clearing and saw the gates. Where were we? The gates opened as if expecting our arrival.
Kellan relaxed visibly back with the boyish charm.   
"Kellan where are we?"
"This my love, is our territory. "
"Our territory?"
"This is the Blue Moon Pack. "
Woahhh! He brought me to meet his family? This is huge!

He opened the doors and stepped in. As I admired the house, we walked further in and entered the main hall. People were crowded in having fun. When they saw Kellan their faces glowed.
"Arabelle this is my mother Victoria." I smiled in respect she pulled me into a hug.
"Oh Kellan she's beautiful much more than your description." She looked at me fondly as I blushed.

A girl came and wrapped her arms around me. I bent down, till I reached her height and smiled as I looked into those innocent brown eyes.
"Hi! Im Natalie, you must be Ara cause you're all that Kel talks about."
She hugged me her tiny frame, filling me with warmth.
"He does does he?" I questioned with a smirk on my face, as Kellan looked down sheepishly.
"Yes he goes on and on about how beautiful you are and how much he loves you."
"Do you love him?" She eyes shine bright as she asks the question.
"I love him too,more than you'll ever know."
"Okayyy I love you too." She hugs me tighter laughing like a bubbly brook.

The more I spent time with his family the more they felt like my own. Warm. Loving. Safe. Its like how its meant to be.
As the sun set, in hues of orange as the sun gave light with a promise in its setting wake that everyday is brighter better than the last. That every moment is filled with magic you just need to find it. And when you do its yours to keep.
Kellan had called a meeting of the pack along with the pack elders.
As the pack stood on the grounds I realised his pack was the biggest and strongest their unity lying in the love trust they had for each other.
The pack stood in silence their heads bowed in respect. Their eyes however when raised scrutinized me whether I would be worthy. Worthy to be their queen. Worthy to rule them.

The pack elders announced as Kellan stood by my side holding my hand.

Vacays!!!
