It seemed like we left everything outside once we walked into the restaurant. She didn't have that stupid ass attitude anymore and that was a good thing. We were both enjoying one anothers company and the food. This enjoyment would probably be short lived once I told her what I needed to because that was the main reason we were here. Once again shorty had a bit too much confidence when she straight up asked what I needed to tell her. But if she wanted to know then she was going to know.

"Come move closer to me" she looked a Bit confused but she still moved.

"Don't ask no questions just lemme talk, Ite?" She shook her head up and down, I guess this meant okay instead of yes so I started explaining shit to her, and not once did I look to see her facial expression.

"So my government name is Ezekiel Price. But my street name is Trigga. It's really self explanatory but I would have to show you better than I could tell you why that is. I'm 19, and I'm a heavy in the streets. I do a bunch of illegal shit. I got people moving guns, drugs and some other shit for me. My hands don't get dirty unless I want them to. I have killed people before, too many people that I can remember. I've been in the game for basically 5 years now but I've only been at the top for 2 years ever since my pops Call himself getting out." I finally looked at her and her face said that she had questions.

"Ask whatever you wanna ask shorty"

"Why yo pops get out the game?"

"Rule #1 when you moving weight is to never get high on yo own supply. He fucked up when he did that. Shit started falling at his feet, and he just wasn't the boss he thought he was"

"Is he still alive?" I didn't wanna answer this question. I didn't know what she would think of me when I told her that I was the one that killed him.

"No"

"What happened to him?"

"You ask a lot of questions Kya."

"So"

"He was killed"

"Do you know by who?" Now I was getting irritated. She was questioning me like she was 12 or something.

"Yes, why?"

"I just wanna know. I lost my dad and all I know about how he died was because of mistaken identity."

"Sorry for your loss"

"Thanks, it's fine though. Someone just wrote me a letter earlier saying they knew who killed him I would just have to work with them"

"You trust that?" I asked glad that she was off my back.

"No, but if it brings me closer to an answer about who killed him then I can trust that."

I respected what she said. "I can help you find out who killed him. Do you trust me?"

"Yeah I guess"

"You Want me to help you find that out though?"

"Yes Ezekiel, so who killed your dad?"

I didnt answer immediately, but she was staring into my eyes waiting for an answer, searching for an answer.

"I did, this afternoon, after I dropped you off at home from Chipotle" tears started to form in her eyes. I didn't want her to start crying because I wouldn't know how to stop it. And I wouldn't know how to stop it because I wouldn't know why she was crying.

"Why you kill your dad Ezekiel?"

"I had to."

"But that's your dad"

"I know. But it's so much shit that he did and it's just a long story. Now is really not the time and place for me to explain but it was either his life or mines. If it was mines then there would be nobody to take care of my moms and I wouldn't have met you."

"I just... I don't understand. If you could take the life of your parent you can take the life of anybody with no second thought" she moved away from me, wiping tears out of her eyes. I went in my pocket and pulled out 3 hundred dollar bills. I didn't know how much our bill was but I'm sure that that would cover it and be a decent tip. I grabbed Kyas hand and we exited the restaurant. Walking back to the car, she let my hand go. I didn't try to grab it again because I didn't wanna deal with the back and forth. I was about to take her home and deal with this emotions shit another day, maybe tomorrow. I turned on her street and pulled up in front of her building. As I was getting out to come open her door she stopped me.

"I wanna go back to your house"

I was taken aback by what she said. This whole time she was riding without saying anything to me. Not even looking my way, but now she wanted to go back to my place.

"Ion think that's a good idea lil shorty"

"Why is it not a good idea Ezekiel?"

"Because, I just don't. You was just crying because I told you I killed my father"

"I wanna go back to your place, so we can talk. That's probably where you feel the most comfortable right?"

I couldn't read her facial expression but whatever she wanted she can get. 10 minutes later we were getting out of the car and on our way up to my condo.

"If at any point you want me to take you home, just let me know"

"I think I'll be okay." As she said this she wrapped my arm around her neck and held my hand.

I never thought about what she would do with any of the information I told her and to be honest I didn't really care. I trusted lil shorty and I think she realized that.

Stepping off the elevator she stopped walking, so I stopped too.

"Earlier you said that you needed to know that I wasn't gone never switch on you. No matter the situation or what pressure was being put on me. You didn't have to tell me that you killed your dad but you did. So that means you trust me and I trust you too. So understand that I'm not gonna switch on you because you haven't shown me thus far a reason to do so. I was bummed that you were the one that killed your dad because I would never kill mines. But I guess you had to do what you had to do. Like I told you earlier wasn't nothing you could tell me that would stop me from having feelings for you, and I mean that."

I wrapped my hands around her waist, she kept it a buck Everytime she talked to me and I liked that. "Kya, will you be my girlfriend?"

"Yes Ezekiel Price I will be your girlfriend"

We kissed for a second, and then walked in the condo headed to my room.
