Today is a big day for me. I will soon be free and I hope it will be for today. I am tired of this prison and no life. I miss Andy and Rick. They are both here with me. Everyone that means anything to me is here to support me. I am sitting at the table with my lawyer. I am dressed the part with my hair down and a blue dress with black heels. Have some jewelry and a little make up. The lawyer said I did everything right.
They are making the final pleas. There is much anger and many tears. But I am full of hope. I have the best lawyer there is. Now all I have to do is wait for guilty or not. The time is here for them to say and I am hearing every word. Not guilty, I smile for the first time since I got here and tears are coming. Rick jumps up and so does Andy and they run to me and Rick hugs me and kisses me and then Andy hugs me and says he is so happy for me. They both missed me like I missed them.
We all walk out together and Rick and I get into his car and Andy follows us in his car to the house. As we get there and Rick helps me out and unlocks the door. He yells and so does Andy they are so excited like I am. Rick says we are having a party!
They go out to buy the stuff and I get ready. When they get back they have so many things and I wonder how we will ever eat all of it. There are drinks of every kind with a big cake. Lots of chips, cookies, and so much more. There was franks, hamburgers, and chicken. Even some steaks. The house was clean and it looked great.
I had took a shower and put make up on and had my hair down and a shirt on with black pants. I felt so pretty and so loved. What a wonderful day it was. It is so hard when you are accused of something you did not do. When you have to be in prison knowing you did no wrong. But when you are the daughter of a gang leader you are looked down on for many things. It is not a easy life. Or a pretty one.
