The Police took them all down and now we wonder if they will find out that Ricky called the Police and that he is a cop. If they find out they will try to kill him. I am really worried but they deserve what they got. Ricky had told them several times that he is no longer a member of the gang and never will be again. But they won't take no for an answer.
The others tell us not to worry that they will protect us. That we are all in it together. But they will be putting their own lives on the line. They all left after we talked and Ricky and I went to sleep. We were both so tired. We slept for a long time because we had turned the phones off.
When we got up the phone was ringing all day. With people telling us they would protect us and if we needed anything to let them know. After a while I was hoping they would quit calling. I was tired of hearing the ringing of the phone.
Rick leaves to go to work and I go to do some shopping. When I get to the mall I see a man watching me. I don't pay much attention to him until he stops me and asks me my name. I told him it was none of his business. He said yes it is because I am sure you or your husband killed my friend. I looked him in the eye and said I don't think so but if one of us did. They deserved it because someone is trying to kill us because my husband is not in the gang anymore.
This made him angry and I was already angry. He said we will see about that and I told him if that was a threat I will see you dead. I told him he would be like a grave of stone and would be silent. Never to be heard again. He went to grab for me and someone got him first. They whispered in his ear I don't think you want to do that.
