Rick went to work on the new job and so far he is happy with the job. I'm also glad it is working out. It does have good pay and he is at home more all the time. His boss seems to be the kind of person he needs to be around.
We also have talked things over and will soon be married and start our family. I am looking forward to it so much. It will have all our friends there and I will see all of my friends. They will be shocked. Yet happy for me.
I have my wedding dress picked out and how I want the wedding to be. It is going to be a lot of work but well worth it. I will be really busy and so will Rick. After all we have been through, it is time we have our turn. Not for sure if we will buy a bigger place or not. This house is perfect. Near a good school and a church close by. Close to stores.
Now I am cooking and cleaning the house. Rick is cutting the lawn. Just as I am getting through there comes a call and Rick's boss and wife are coming over. Just when I thought tonight was our alone time. Oh well, I like them and they are fun.
The doorbell rings and there they stand. All smiles and with wine in hand. As they come in. I see a black eye on his wife. I do not say anything but I can tell she is nervous. But then again he looks upset. I ask her if she would like to help me in the kitchen. She says yes and he grabs her and tells her to sit down. By now I am so angry I want to slap him and Rick looks like he wants to kill him.
I look at her and said come on he will not touch you or tell you what you can or can not do in my home. Rick told her the same. Her husband stood up to come after her and Rick told him to sit down. He looks at Rick and says you and your wife need to stay out of my business. Rick told him I don't think so! He then told Rick then you are fired and Rick said no I quit.
I would not want to work for someone who beats their wife and scares them. Then tells them what they can or can not do. You are the kind of man that gives men the wrong kind of name. No wonder women do not trust us. He said I do not have to listen at this and Rick said no you don't. So please leave! He got up to leave and started in the kitchen. Rick said no you don't.
Well this made him mad and he told Rick, I will get my wife and Rick said no you won't. Then the fight broke out and I called the Police. They came and took him to jail and when they got his wife alone. She told them how he abuses her and she told them, she was scared of him and did not know how to stop him.
