Pure Heaven

Damon stood stock still, staring at Scarlet. Elena picked Amberlynn out of his arms and placed her back in her swing and placed a hand on Damon's shoulder.

"Be nice," Elena scolded giving Scarlet a sympathy look.

Damon finally relaxed. "I didn't know that Katherine's daughter was a vampire."

Scarlet sighed. "Well, I am."

Elena slapped Damon's arm softly. "She told me good news."

Damon turned his sharp gaze to Elena."What could she possibly say that is so good?"

Elena shot him her death glare. "If you stop being an ass, I'll tell you."

Scarlet chuckled earning an annoyed look from Damon.

"What is the news?" Damon asked softly.

Elena smiled at him and placed her hand on his chest looking into his deep hazel eyes. "Our baby is safe. She isn't a doppelganger."

Confusion and happiness crossed through his face. It took him a moment to realize what Elena had just told him.

"She's safe? How?" Damon asked looking at Scarlet.

"In order for there to be a doppelganger the girl has to be the spitting image of us. If there is the slightest difference, something as little as the way she walks, she won't be a doppelganger. So since she has your eyes she won't be useful to Klaus."

A sigh of relief came out of Damon's mouth. "That's one less thing to worry about."

A few hours later Elena climbed into Damon's, er their, king sized bed after putting Amber to sleep. She put her hand out trying to find the familiar body of Damon, but only felt the silk sheets slip between her fingers.

"Damon?" Elena whispered knowing he could hear her.

A dark figure appeared in front of her causing her to jump.

"Damon, you scared the hell out of me." She said placing her hand on her chest making her heart rate go down.

"I'm sorry." Damon smirked and kissed Elena's cheek. A wave of electrical currents spread through her body from his kiss.

Snuggling closer to him, she felt goose bumps form where his fingers gently trailed the length of her arm.

"I'm not tired. Are you?" Damon asked with his chin on top of her head.

"Not in the least," Elena smirked knowing what Damon wanted.

"Do you wanna?" Damon asked suggestively.

Elena chuckled. "Do I wanna? Yes. Can I? No. The doctor says I can't for six weeks."

Damon sighed. "Damn."

Elena looked up at Damon and smiled. "That still doesn't mean we can't do other things, just not that."

Damon's famous smirk tugged at his lips. Without saying anything Damon crashed his lips on hers leaving Elena breathless. Damon moved Elena on her back with him laying on top of her. Pure ecstasy flowed through Elena's body. Running her fingers through his soft black hair Damon's hands traveled all over Elena's body.

Damon expertly took off Elena's tank top with one hand and trailed kisses down her neck landing at the top of her breasts. Elena bit her lip trying not to make any noise in fear of waking Amber or Stefan. Leading Damon's head back up she placed her lips on his hungrily and let her hands roam over his toned chest. Elena felt Damon shudder at her touch and she smiled."

"I love you," Damon whispered in between kisses.

"I love you too," Elena whispered back.

Short, short short. I know. I am so sorry. I probably didn't answer any of your questions in this chapter but I gave you a little Delena scene. ;).

Elena finally said "I love you" to Damon. Did you notice she hadn't said it before? Even though you so obviously knew she loved him. I wanted it to be special :).
