Chapter 14

~Elena P.O.V . ~

            When Elena saw a woman with raven black hair and porcelain skin snap Damon’s neck all of her senses and thoughts left. She just stood there not knowing what to do. He’s a vampire. He will be ok. They just broke his neck. A little voice said in the back of her head. She knew the voice was right but it still hurt watching his limp body sitting in that chair with rope tied around his hands and ankles.

            “Well look who we have here,” A husky British voice said.

            “Hello Klaus,” Katherine smiled coolly.

            “Katherine and Elena are here to save the day,” The raven haired woman said.

            Elena still was rooted to the ground and watched the deathly glares that the three vampires shared.

            “Do you think it was such a good idea to bring a human with you?” Jasmine said with disgust on the word human.

            “I’m not just a human,” Elena spat out.

            Jasmine laughed. “Pathetic.”

            Elena’s blood was beginning to boil. She took one step forward but was stopped by Katherine’s arm. “Don’t.” She hissed.

            Jasmine pouted. “Are we going to fight or what?”

            Klaus smirked. “No, we are going to negotiate.”

            Jasmine’s eyes bulged. “What?”

            Klaus rung his hands together and stepped right beside Damon’s limp body. “Damon in exchange for Amberlynn.”

            Elena clenched her fists and ground her teeth. “Over my dead body will you have my daughter.”

            Klaus shrugged. “I guess we will have to do it the hard way.” His fangs elongated and his vampire face shone through the dim light. He took one step and was immediately thrashed down on the floor by an unknown force.

            “I don’t think that is such a good idea,” A soft voice said from behind Elena causing her to jump and turn around and face the speaker; Bonnie.

            “Bonnie?” Elena asked dumbfounded.

            Bonnie smiled and turned her eyes to Klaus. “I have been talking to my cousin Lucy. You remember her right? Well, she told me a new way to kill you. I don’t think you will like this one.”
