This story takes place when the gang were in highschool. :)
edit: i wrote this over 3 years ago(back in seventh grade, i'm in 10th now. i think it honestly is not that bad and if the first couple chapters get attention i'll try to continue it cause...
"Um...I dunno...like a few left or something." I said. I don't know why I stuttered.
"Ha. I have 10 left. Race ya!" Amy said loudly. Who is she to race against the fastest thing alive? After I caught my breath, I started. I was probably done in the next minute. I sat at the bleachers, waiting for Amy. I saw her running. Man, she looked pretty tired. I walked over to where her lap would end. Once her lap ended, she was so out of breath, she collapsed. Luckily, I caught her.

"Ha, It looks like you're the one who's tired now!" I teased. Amy was so out of breath she couldn't reply.
"Sonic....put...me...down." Amy said,stuttering. I couldn't help but chuckle. I placed her down and she sat on the bleachers. I offered her a water bottle and she drank some of the water. A few minutes passed and we didn't really say a word to each other.
"Sonic, I'm sorry for yelling this morning, I get you were only trying to help." Amy said.
"It's fine, Ames. I'm sorry for budding in." I said. Wow, that was easy. A few girls passed by so I waved at them. I wasn't trying to be flirtatious, but flirty. I saw Amy groaning.
LE TIME SKIP- AMY's POV I walked into science. I saw Rouge and Sonic sitting together and talking. I assumed they were flirting. I thought they weren't a thing! And Sonic was being flirty with me! He's such a player. I sat a few tables away from them. Just my luck, no one else sat there.
Or at least, I thought. Scrouge walked in. He started walking to my table, and he sat near me. I looked over at Sonic. He was still talking to Rouge. I felt envious. I suppose I have a soft spot for Sonic, but that doesn't count as a crush... right?
