Percy's POV

As I walked out of the throne room and towards my room, I was juggling many thoughts in my mind. I have a strong feeling that something is wrong and I am so confused. I tried not to stress myself out with these thoughts so I just ignored them. I reached my room and walked inside, laying down on my bed. I was exhausted from my mission and I just wanted to rest. So I closed my eyes and slipped into a dreamless sleep....

I woke up as soon as I felt someone shaking me. I opened my eyes to see Erebus trying to wake me up. I sat up and asked why he was here.

"Tartarus wants to speak with you right away," Erebus told me.

"Okay," I replied as he left the room and I changed into a new set of clothes.

I headed once again to the throne room and bowed respectfully to my masters.

"Perseus, I want to speak with you about some... preparations. But first, I must warn you. The people we are against will try to fool you into thinking you're friends. Do NOT listen to them. They will just try to get you to join their side. Understood?" Tartarus asked.

I nodded my head in understanding and he began to speak again.

"Now that that's taken care of, we must prepare for a war. We will be fighting against the forces of Mount Olympus. But before we can, you must train and practice using your powers." he said to me.

"Okay. Where do I go to train?" I asked.

"I'll show you," Erebus told me as he led me out of the throne room.

We walked until we reached a set of double doors that were three times my size. They were glowing black and looked pretty awesome and intimidating in my opinion. Erebus pushed open the doors and inside was the most incredible arena I have ever seen.

Basically, all of the weapons you can imagine were here. All sorts of swords and javelins were lined on the walls and a bunch of other stuff I wasn't familiar with. To say I was shocked would be an understatement. But, one thing was for sure. I was going to ace my training. I was about to take a step forward when Erebus stopped me.

"Here. This is your sword," he said as he handed me a pitch black sword.

For some reason it seemed familiar....

'Not now,' I thought to myself as I got rid of my thoughts.

I grabbed the sword and enjoyed the comfortable sensation I felt when I held it in my hand.

"Perseus, first we are going to work on your powers," Erebus said as I nodded my head.

"Please call me Percy, Lord Erebus," I told him.

I just felt that the name Percy just sounded.... I don't know.... right? I looked at my master and noticed that he seemed... worried? It only lasted for a second though before it changed to a calm, normal expression.

"Very well, Percy," he replied.

I smiled at him and then turned and walked into the arena.

I heard him follow me and then he announced, "Let the training begin!"
