Chapter 2

"Thank you so much (x100), Ae Yeun-ah! You are the best! I never knew you would have bought me 'WINGS'! I'm soo happy that you bought all the four versions... and also 'BTS Seasons Greetings 2017'!! I can't believe it! They just got released yesterday... Kyaa! You are the best friend anyone could wish for, you are my saviour~~ I love you soooooo much!! >-<"

I have never seen So Eun very happy like this in her own life, I mean- she had already completed her current 'BTS Albums' collection and these two sets that I bought were just to complete them after all, it did not make any sense, she kept on squealing and humming excitedly as if she got all her wishes come true...

"What's with the mood? Are you gonna get married with a rich man, perhaps?" I asked sarcastically.

"Even better!", she shouted.

Before she could say anything else, her dad came to pick her up. She had to rush to the car as her dad would scold her if she didn't, well... he's scary... only to both of us perhaps.

The answer she gave me made me act all curious. I mean... what's better than marrying a rich man?!

I suddenly got a text from my mom that she couldn't pick me up so I had to take the bus home... again.

To be honest, my mom made her career her first priority in life since I was ever born but I did not mind and had the urge to complain at all.

She was just working hard to raise me and ease her own life, that's all.

"Why not... just walk home? Hehe."

I grinned to myself as I did not really like to ride on public buses with no one I know to accompany me. But my luck seemed to have run out as my mom texted me again.

Don't ever 'walk' alone again. >:( -Mom

I won't, why would I? :) -Ae Yeun

Ya think I don't know. -Mom

"Did mom hire a spy or something? How did she know?! Sheesh."

I huffed and stomped my feet, dragging myself towards the bus stop.

I crossed my arms and waited for the slow bus to come. How I was furious over such a small thing like a toddler.

I went in the bus and sat right next to the window and looked outside. I was surprised that no one except me and the bus driver are on that current bus at that time... so it was very quiet.

I sighed and took out my phone to listen to some classical songs as it was too quiet for me to handle.

I should have also brought the novel I just read last night, it was really an awkward silence for me to not do anything.

I checked my playlist and remembered my friend, So Eun.

/Flashback/

In the morning before summer class started...

"Stop messing with my phone, So Eun-ah!" I tried to take my phone away from her.

"Wait... Just a bit more! You are so boring, Kang Ae Yeun... This is the last song left for me to send to be in your playlist. How can you survive without any K-pop songs?! I promise you'll love them as much as I do after you listen to them."

I chuckled remembering at how cute my best friend was, trying to change my personal interests.

"Oh well... listening to a few songs won't let me automatically fall for them, wouldn't I?"
