Serenity's pov
"So serenity, what's your story?" She asked, seemingly very interested.
"My story?"
"Yeah, I want to know what made you, you; what's your past?"
"Oh, okay. Well, I don't-"
Ring. Ring.
I waited for her to pick her phone up but she just stared at me. Wow, that ringtone sounds just like mine!
The phone's still ringing. "Tess, Aren't you going to pick that up?"
She didn't say anything, she just pointed at my bag, and smiled.
I looked at my bad questioningly, "Oh no, this is a new bag I got from H&M's, it's really comfortable though."
She simply laughed, "No, I meant it's your phone ringing. pick it up."
"Oh, right!" I quickly opened my bag and took my phone out.
I didn't check the called ID and just answered, "Hello?"
No answer.
"Hello? Anyone there?"
No answer.
I hung up and groan. "This number calls everyday and never talks back."
She had a look that I couldn't understand, "That's weird. That happens to me too."
"Really? Maybe it's just a stalker or something."
"Maybe."
The silence consumed the air until I decided to vacuum it, "Hey—"
"Hey to you too!"
I playfully glared at her, "As I was saying, do you want to go eat?"
"Sure, free food; why not?"
"There, there; missy. I didn't say that I was going to pay!"
She was about to fake cry when her stomach growled. Her eyes widened as she looked at me embarrassed, "Sorry."
I laughed, "What for?"
"Let's just go before my stomach starts having a karaoke night."
-
"No, Serenity! I was just kidding!"
