Serenity's pov
Once I woke up, I realized that Tess and I were still in the same position as last night. We were cuddling on the couch, it was quite comfortable though, not denying that.
I slowly got off of Tessa's embrace and carefully stood up so I won't wake her up. I quickly got ready by taking a shower and picking out my clothes. Then I finished doing my hair and makeup.
After I was satisfied with my appearance, I went to check up on Tess. Though she was awake, sitting on the couch and watching Tv.
"Hey," she said once she saw me.
"Hey."
She seemed deep in thought, but turned to look at me and smiled. "Can I ask for your opinion on something?"
"Yeah, sure. What is it?"
"My dad is encouraging me on finding a job and I really want to, what do you think?"
"Yes, that's great! I'm definitely okay with that, if you wanted my permission, which you don't need."
"Awe, thank you! I just wanted to ask to make sure you were okay with it."
"I'm very okay with it! In fact, I can help you with finding one right now."
"Right now?"
"Yeah! I think you shouldn't wait until later, it's better to do it now."
"Okay, but it's better if I do it alone. Not because I don't want you to come with me, but since about yesterday, you know, you should rest."
I sighed remembering the events that occurred yesterday, "Okay then, be careful!"
"I will!"
With that, she was out. To be honest, she looked great even without getting ready. I laughed at the thought of me taking time on my appearance to actually look decent but for Tess, she doesn't even need to try.
I decided to stay at home and watch a movie while waiting for Tess to come back, which might take some time. I hope she gets a job that pays her a decent amount of money as well.
