Tessa's pov
It's been two weeks since I got the job and I've been doing so good at my job, if I say so myself.
Mr. Williams is the boss, as I figured, and he thought that I was doing very well; so he told me that I earned myself a vacation.
Right now I'm at the airport about to go to Serenity's house to surprise her.
When I reached the doorstep, I knocked a few times until I heard the sound of the lock.
Serenity gasped once she saw me, probably shocked. "Tess, what are you doing here?"
"I got a vacation so I decided to visit you and stay with you until it's time to go back to work again."
"Awe, I missed you so much."
"Me too."
We hugged each other, feeling the warmth of one another, missing the smell that we hadn't smelt in two weeks.
"Come in, I was just making some lunch."
"Oh good, I'm hungry."
She sighed, "Yeah, me too."
We talked and told each other everything we wanted to say when we weren't together, except for the fact that we both never met our moms.
"So, is your boss hot?"
I made a face of disgust, "Tee, he's forty years old."
"Really?"
"Yeah, and he's your dad too."
She got up from her seat, "What?!"
"Yeah."
"That's crazy."
"It is."
"So what else have you not been telling me, shmoopy?"
"Uh, here's the deal."
"Wait, is there actually something that you didn't tell me?"
"Um, yeah. It's kind of serious."
