"Neveah my dear your guests are waiting!" Victor called to his youngest from the bottom of the staircase at the Newman ranch. It was a Saturday in late February, Neveah's 4th Birthday in fact. Victor had put together a fabulous princess themed party for her. The entire ranch was decorated in everything pink you could possibly imagine. Streamers hung from the ceiling in the entrance with a banner that said HAPPY BIRTHDAY NEVEAH in pink glittered letters. The living room had a dew round tables spread out with white chairs and pink tablecloths. In the center of each table was a picture of Neveah from birth until the present. Victor had made sure to include pink roses, Neveah's favorite flower, spread around the room in multiple different vases. There was a table in the corner for gifts, it was loaded with many different packages that were wrapped in all kinds of princess themed wrapping paper. The cake was perhaps the most extravagant part of the entire event. It was shaped just like Cinderella's castle, Victor had hired the best cake decorator in the United States, and he wanted it to be perfect.
"Well it looks like you really outdid yourself Dad." Nick said as he took another look around the room. "Well son I can't take all the credit" Victor replied smiling at Faith and Summer who sat on the couch. "She is going to love it." Summer beamed. Victoria entered the room with Katie in her arms and Johnny at her feet, "Wow, I don't remember any of my Birthday parties being the extravagant." She remarked putting Katie down. "We may have gone a bit overboard" Faith giggled getting off the couch to hug her aunt. "I'm just glad we can all be here for her." Victoria said smiling at her father. "Just as long as she knows we're all here, that's all that matters." Nick said. "Ladies and gentleman" Victors voice boomed. "May I present Miss Neveah Grace Newman." Neveah appeared at the top of the staircase in a bright pink ball gown. Her blonde hair was pulled up into a little bun resting at the top of her head. She wore a small tiara with jewelry to match. She began to take small steps down toward her father who was waiting at the bottom smiling from ear to ear. Abby appeared behind her sister and said, "Hair and wardrobe by yours truly!" Everyone clapped as Neveah reached the bottom of the stairs and Victor scooped her up into his arms. "Happy Birthday Princess" he kissed her forehead. Neveah giggled, "Thank you Daddy,"
"And every Princess needs a Prince" Avery entered through the kitchen with Champ in her arms. The little boys was decked out in a small tuxedo with a pink bowtie to match Neveah's dress. "And what is a princess without a fairy god mother" Summer pulled out a small pink wand from behind her back, "your wish is my command princess Neveah." "Don't forget the footman" Johnny scampered over to Neveah and his grandfather, "at your service my lady" the boy beamed. "But I don't have a carriage" Nevaeh laughed. "Do you wish for one?" Summer asked. "Yes!" Neveah shouted happily.
"Then follow me" Summer waited for Victor to put Neveah on the ground before she headed for the front door. She grabbed her coat and Neveah's, "We will need these where we are going." Summer said opening the door. Neveah smiled as she put on her little white mink coat following Faith outside. Once the front door closed behind them Victor spoke, "Alright quickly everyone to the stables." The family quickly put on their coats and headed out the back entrance and down to the stables. Summer drove Nevaeh around the ranch for a good 10 minutes before she pulled up next to the barn. "What are we doing here?" the little girl asked. "Granting your wish my dead" Summer got ut of the car and walked around opening Neveah's door. "Thank you" Neveah said stepping out of the vehicle. "This way miss" Summer took Neveah's hand and the two walked to the barn doors. "Are you ready?" "Yes!" Summer opened the door and took Neveah inside. The lights turned on and there was a small white pony tied to a post with a pink ribbon around her neck. Neveah's little mouth fell open, she was speechless. She could not believe her eyes, was she dreaming? This pony was the most beautiful pony she had ever seen. "What do you think?" Victor appeared from behind Neveah, She turned and face him, "Oh daddy is she for me?" "Who else would she be for my dear?" Neveah let out a squeal of pure delight as she lept into her fathers' arms. "Oh thank you Daddy! She's the most beautiful pony ever!" she hugged Victor tight. "I'm so glad you like her my darling" "Can I go pet her?' she asked/ "By all means" Victor set her down and watched as she raced to the horse. She was so gentle as she said hello and kissing the horse on its tiny nose. The family stood behind Victor, each and everyone one of them knowing how much he loved that little girl and how much he wished her mother could be there. Neveah turned to her father, 'Daddy who will teach me how to ride her?" she asked. Victor cleared his throat and turned to the side door as it opened. A figure appeared, the shadow walked slowly into the light, "I am" came the familiar feminine voice.
The woman stood there in a full blown riding habit of the most elegant attire. Her blonde hair was curled perfectly and her blue eyes twinkled as she locked eye with little Neveah. "Mama" the little girl exclaimed in shock.
