PRESENT DAY:

"Daddy who will teach me how to ride her?" she asked. Victor cleared his throat and turned to the side door as it opened. A figure appeared, the shadow walked slowly into the light, "I am" came the familiar feminine voice. The woman stood there in a full blown riding habit of the most elegant attire. Her blonde hair was curled perfectly and her blue eyes twinkled as she locked eye with little Neveah. "Mama" the little girl exclaimed in shock.

          Victoria turned to Nicholas, "Did you know about this?" she whispered. He shook his head no and they both stared back at their mother. "Mama you woke up." Neveah said. "That's right" Nikki replied holding back tears "I did wake up. Thanks to you and your Daddy." "Mom, how long have you been awake?" Victoria asked. "More importantly why didn't Dad tell us?" Nicholas questioned Victor. "Because, he wanted to give me time to adjust. I was shocked at first which is normal. I wanted to see you believe me I did but we had to be sure I could handle it." Nikki explained. Victor walked over to his wife and put his arm around her. "Now we know she can." He smiled down at her. Nikki sensed the tension in the room, "Neveah, do you want to ride your pony now?" Nikki asked bending down so she was at her daughter's level. The little blonde stepped closer to her mother, "Yes ma'am." She grinned. Nikki couldn't believe she had missed out on the first years of her daughter's life, she began to tear up. "Why is Mama crying Daddy?" Neveah looked up at Victor. "She's just happy my darling. Now let's go inside for some cake." He picked her up. "But I was going to ride." "Honey later, your still in your nice dress." "Oh right I wouldn't want to get it dirty." The little girl giggled. Nikki stood there, seeing him with Neveah was something she could not believe. He was a good father to his children but never engaged with them when they were little like he was doing now. She had always been the caregiver when they were little and Victor was only there for the parties or special events. She felt her throat tighten and she started to back up. Victor turned and saw Nikki run out of the barn. He put Neveah down, "Go inside" he said to everyone as he rushed after his wife.

          Victor found Nikki in the pasture standing by the fence staring up at the stars. "Sweetheart it is not easy to keep up with you anymore." He chuckled standing next t her. Nikki kept her gaze on the sky, "You are getting old." Was all she said. "Baby what is it?' he asked reaching for her hand. "You're her whole world. There's no place or me" Victor turned her to look at him, "You listen to me, I may be her world but you are where her heart is. You have no idea how badly she would beg to go see you. She would sit by your side for hours and tell you all about her day." "I'm a terrible mother." Nikki pulled away from him. "No you are a great mother and Neveah will see that soon enough. She is thrilled to have you back." "Victor I can't stay here.' "What are you talking about?" "The life you have with her has no place for me. I thought it would work but after seeing her with you today I know I can't fit in." She held back the tears. His eyes filled with rage and he grabbed her shaking her a little, "You are her mother and she gave no indication that she doesn't wat you here. Maybe you weren't ready to come back." Nikki stood there it hurt to ask but she had to, "Is there someone else?" Victor was shocked, "What would make you think that?" "I don't know Victor I just feel that something else is keeping us apart." "The fact that you would even think for one minute I would do that to you is unbelievable." "You've done it before." "And so have you. But I have been faithful this time I swear." "I believe you but there is something else isn't there?" Victor looked at her, "Nikki, Adam is back in town and I don't trust him." "What does that have to do with us?" "He's been looking for Chelsea." "And you think he found her and she'll come back and finish what her brother started?" "I didn't want to admit it but yes, I am worried for your safety." "Victor, you shouldn't worry about me anymore. I can take care of myself. There is nothing Adam or Chelsea could do to keep me away I promise." "So you'll stay?" She nodded leaning into him for a passionate kiss.

          Back at the house Victoria handed Nick a piece of cake, "I can't believe he didn't tell us." She said. "I assume he wanted to protect us like usual." Nick said biting into the vanilla cake. "He need to stop doing that, we're not kids." Nick and Victoria turned to look at Neveah who sat with the other children at the table. She was smiling and giggling, "Little one finally got her birthday wish." Avery said as she walked up next to Nick. "How do you think she'll adjust?" Nick questioned. "It will take time but she's a Newman so she should be fine." Victoria smiled. "I just can't believe he wouldn't have told us? Neveah I understand but Vic and I are adults." "Nick," Avery said calmly "Victor had his reason, now who knows what those reasons are but let's just focus on the fact that your mother is back." "Avery is right." "I just want to at least talk to her. What are they doing out there?" "Probably having sex in the hay." Abby snickered as she sat on the couch. "Oh my god." Nick groaned and headed for the kitchen. "What's his deal?" Abby asked. "He has mommy issues?" Victoria laughed. Neveah hopped down from her seat and walked over to Victoria, "Sissy when will Daddy and Mama come back?" "Soon honey, they're just talking." "About what?" Before Vitoria could answer the front door opened and Victor practically fell inside. He had Nikki pressed up against the front door their lips melted together. His hands roamed her body while hers tanged in his hair. "Told you." Abby laughed. Victoria cleared her throat loud enough for her parents to hear, Victor pulled away from Nikki, his face red. "Sorry." "We forgot you were all here." Nikki laughed. "The four year old wanted to know where her parents were." Victoria hissed. "I found them?" Nevaeh giggle and ran to Victor. He picked her up "You've got cake all over your face Princess." "Uh oh" "How about Mama takes you to get cleaned up." Neveah looked at Nikki and smiled, "Oaky." He passed the little girl off to Nikki and smiled as he watched her carry their daughter to the kitchen. "I never thought I'd see it." he whispered. "Neither did I." Victoria agreed.

So it has been foUr years aince Niktor has actually been together. A few friends and I were chatting and I want to know if you guys would be okay with a reunion love scene? I might have to change the rating of the story depending on how in depth I go but I just want to get your guys opinion. Let me know!
