"Sir, we found the place where the group that attacked us in New York are. They are expecting a major shipment tonight and we can make our move." Eddie reports to Leo
"Get the best long range shooters amongst our men, and you lead them Eddie. Let us take them down, so they know never to mess with us again." Leo instructs
That night the men drive and leave their cars at a distance from the shipyard. They take positions and notice their rival group talking while waiting for the shipment.
Leo gestures for Eddie to have the men shoot from long range while him, Nicholas and 3 of his trusted men attack on the ground. The attack begins and all the rival group men are down. Leo still stays down while Nicholas and the other men rummage around to see if there are any others and for their leader.
"So, Leo has sent his men to fight after all. All this time I thought he was a real pussy to put up a fight. I robbed him 2 times now and he did not have the guts to show up to fight."
In a flash of a second Nicholas is held at a gunpoint by Gabriel Leone, the leader of Leone family and group of companies.
"Let him go Gabriel, it is me you want. I came for a fight this time, so let us go at it. Why do you want to play a coward when you just called me one." Leo comes out of hiding and smirks at Gabriel.
"Oh I will have my fight with you but will also finish off this bastardo who killed my men." Gabriel roars
Leo looks at Nicholas and then at Gabriel and then he drops his gun "Let us talk before we all get down and dirty."
"Oh, so the famous billionaire wants to talk now?" Gabriel taunts
"It is just like any other business deal, I am going to make one offer and that would be final. I do not want you messing in my territory and I will not in yours. That is a pretty good deal. As for killing you men today is a payback for what you did in the past to my business and my men in the past."
"No, can't do Leonardo, the offer is not good enough. I want 50% profit in your territory and I will give you no rights in my territory. Howz that for a deal?" Gabriel says venomously.
"Well, no deal then." Leo takes the gun from his waist band and shoots Nicholas and he drops to the ground. Gabriel is shocked to say the least at this move. Before he could react, Leo shoots Gabriel straight at his heart, then at three men who have been aiming at him. His men then shoot the rest. Leo quickly walks over to Nicholas and pulls him up and puts his hand on his shoulders to give him support and drags him quickly to his vehicle, while the rest of him men finish off the rest.
Leo takes the explosives and gestures for his men to round up all the dead bodies and piles them all in their pick up truck. They put the explosives in it and trigger the blast from a safe distance. Once satisfied with clean up, their men retrieve all the security tapes and burn them up as well. Leo then takes Nicholas to a doctor they knew takes cases like these.
"I can't believe you shot me!" Nicholas says to Leo.
"Hey I had no choice, it was either a bullet from me on your leg so you could be out of the way or his bullet in your head. Which one would you have preferred." Leo says playfully and Eddie chuckles
"A warning would have been nice, I worked with your dad even before you joined the business and this is how you repay my loyalty." Nicholas pouts and then screams in pain while the doctor wraps the bandages tightly after removing the bullet and dressing the wound.
"Listen, Nicholas, you are more than an older brother to me. I only did this as I really wanted to protect you the best way I can. Also, it is just a flesh wound, so you will be well and good as new in no time." Leo assures and gets up from his chair.
"Eddie, get Nicholas back to the hotel room and get the manager to call me about the proposal to invest into the Cruise lines." Eddie nods and puts a hand around Nicholas's shoulder to help him get out of the operation table.
"I am waiting on that report on that strategist for Mr. Moreau. I hope to get it before I sleep tonight." Leo waves the men good bye and leaves to a night club in his limo.
Leo goes with his bodyguards to a night club and the night club owner is a close friend of Leo's.
"Leo, my man, thanks for making it tonight. It has been a long time!" Alessandro Ricci greets Leo.
"Good to see you too Alessandro. How is business?"
"Oh it is fine! We have expanded to a couple more locations, one of it being on the beach. So, any news on your hunt for a wife?"
"What are you talking about? I am not hunting for a wife. In fact far from it, I want to stay single and enjoy life a little bit more if you know what I mean!" Leo winks
"yeah, yeah, I know, but last I heard your father and mom were trying to get you hitched as soon as possible."
"Yep, they are still on it, but I didn't give in yet. Anyways, I need you to keep an eye out and let me know if you hear anything from the Leone group." Alessandro nods and remains silent.
"Listen the night is young and there are many wild girls out there begging to be fucked, so let us go out there and have a good time." Leo nods and walks along.
Alessandro approaches a red head and Leo a brunette and they dance for a while and then they take the girls to VIP rooms.
"Just shut up and take it woman!"Leo grunts while releasing into her. He goes several rounds with her all night long and then leaves five thousand dollars for her on the night stand and leaves back to his hotel room.
He notices a sealed envelope placed under the door in his room. He takes the envelope and opens it. He takes a quick glance and places it on his bed. He takes a hot shower and then comes back in a robe and sits on the bed and reads the contents.
He smiles to himself and turns the bed lamps off and drifts off to sleep.
