Chapter 9 - My heart, my Intentions, my rules

"She will be seventeen next year, she is still not of age Leo."

"I know, but legally she will be Eighteen per her birth certificate. I just want to make sure this doofus of her father does not make more mistakes and attract more attention to himself and that angel and cause harm to her. So, I wanted to bind her with a legal bond to keep her here."

"Sure!" Nicholas drawls.

"What?" Leo inquires innocently

"Leo, you are enamored by her, you can't stand the thought of her going anywhere, so you want to lock her down with your for life, so you want to marry her, admit it!"

"So what if I do? Is it so bad to want her, to love her so deeply that I cannot breathe without seeing her, cannot function without her presence, cannot live without her in my life, I admit I love her, I love her with every fiber of my being, and I am not ashamed!" Leo confesses

"But she is much too young, almost half your age Leo. She does not know anything, other than books and how to analyze and help with investments. She is much younger socially than her age. She does not know anything and she is as innocent and pure as they come. How is she going to fit into our dangerous world, let alone understand love or lust." Nicholas argues

"I know, she is young, but it is just number to me. I know she is very innocent and pure, and that is what more alluring about her. She can keep me grounded and calm when the rest of my life is in turmoil. She can give me the love that I need to survive the cruelness of the world. She is a genius in business and that can greatly help as my partner in life to help and expand my business and stay at the top of my game. As for her kindness and affection, she will take care of all of us with love and care as a group, as a family and that will make us more stronger and loyal to each other than any other group. As for beauty, god! She is beyond compare, no angel can compete with her in that department, so I will be bound to her at all times and throughout my life I will be loyal to her. I see no issues in my wanting her, do you?"

"yeah, I see one. How are you going to teach her let alone make her understand your feelings and love you back?"

"That! I did not think through, but I am sure things will fall into place in a year!" Leo looks a bit nervously.

"Do I see a nervous Leo in front of me? Oh my god! I need to take a picture so it lasts long, this is precious!"

"leave me alone Nicholas!" Leo says slightly blushing

Nicholas snaps a picture and "this is precious, I am going to keep this for life!" He doubles down in laughter.

"Alright cut it out!" Leo says feigning irritation and slight anger.

"Seriously, she is an angel and you can never find a more beautiful, more sweeter, more intelligent, more loving person. She is young but her heart seems big. If you play your cards right, you both will end up together and I get to officiate your marriage!" Nicholas almost blesses Leo.

Leo nods shyly "Why don't you run along to those places you mentioned you had business to take care of and I will finish up here and see you back at home." Leo instructs and Nicholas smiles and leaves his office.

Leo finishes up his work and rushes back home to see how the angel is doing and if she is adjusting to the new surroundings.

"Angelo, James, do you guys wanna take a break?" Leo inquires while the maid hands out coffee and snacks to everyone.

"No Sir, we are fine!"

"How many times I have told you guys, that you are my cousins, so you can call me by my name."
