"We must move Jane off-world."  Thor gathers his warriors and Heimdall together in the back of a brothel.

"The Bifrost has been shut down and the Tesseract locked away in the vault."  Heimdall interrupts.

"There are other paths off Asgard."  Thor replies with confidence, building to his plan's hatching.

"Ways known only to a few."

"One, actually."  Thor's eyes cast down as he thinks of that one person whom he cannot succeed without.

"Thor. After all this time and now you come to visit me.  Why?  Have you come to gloat? To mock?"  An infuriated slender Asgardian hisses at Thor as he comes into view from behind the prison cell.

"Loki, enough.  No more illusions."  Thor orders.  Slowly, the image of a powerhouse mastermind disappears and the neatly organized cell evaporates into an abode of destruction and disarray.  A tortured and broken man now sits against the back wall of the cell.

"Now you see me, brother."  Loki's exhausted expression and gaunt face sting Thor as he finally sees the torment Loki is going through.  "Did she suffer?"  He pauses as tears swell in his eyes, "What of Dinah?  Is she alive?  Or is everyone I hold dear to be taken from me?"

Unable to waste any time, Thor hides his emotions.  "Dinah lives.  But, I did not come here to share our grief. Instead I offer you the chance of a far richer sacrament."

"Go on."  Loki is intrigued.

"I know you seek vengeance as much as I do.  You help me escape Asgard and I will grant it to you.  Vengeance and afterward, this cell."  Thor sternly states, Loki only scoffs as a reply.

He smiles his infamous mischievous grin, "You must truly be desperate to come to me for help."  Loki's eyes harden, "What makes you think you can trust me?"

"I don't.  Mother did."  Thor paces around the cell, "But you should know that when we fought each other in the past, I did so with a glimmer of hope that my brother was still in there somewhere. That hope no longer exists to protect you.  You betray me, and I will kill you."  Thor plainly states.  "I know Dinah cares for you and she may feel hatred towards me for a time, but I will not let you betray me.  If you do, you are betraying her trust as well."
