"Hello Dinah, its nice to meet you." The tall gentleman with blue eyes, blonde hair, and very familiar English accent smiles sweetly at Dinah underneath the awning of a café. "This rain is quite heavy; would you like to come inside and have a cup of coffee or tea with me till it subsides?" Luke smiles a hopeful smile and extends his arm in the direction of the café entrance.

Dinah stares at him astonished and frozen for a moment. He looks just like him...she thought. Dinah shook herself out of her thoughts, "Oh, uh, sure." Luke opens the door to the café and they go inside and order hot tea and coffee. "So, you sound like you're from England...is that so?"

Luke nodded in agreement. "And you've lived in New York all your life?" Dinah nodded, still staring intently at this man who looks and sounds similar to Loki. "What do you do here?"

Dinah smiles and shrugs her shoulders, "Well, its not exactly a normal job."

"Come on, tell me!" Luke smiles with enthusiasm.

Dinah rubs her fingers around her coffee mug nervously, "Well, I'm one of the Avengers."

Luke looks up from his tea, wide-eyed with astonishment. "Wow. You were right, not a normal job by any means." Dinah chuckles. "So, what exactly do you do with the Avengers?"

"Well, I'm a pilot and I am also a trained field agent, so I know how to kick major ass

"Well, I'm a pilot and I am also a trained field agent, so I know how to kick major ass." Dinah states confidently as she sips her tea. Luke chuckles, "What do you do?"

"Well, I'm a historian on Norse Traditions." Luke sips his tea.

Dinah squints her eyes at him in an inquisitive manner, "That's not a normal job either, you know."

Luke chuckles, "I know."

"Well, what brings you to New York?"

"Well, the Vikings did come to America very early on, before other explorers made it that far, so I'm studying their remnants and such that they left behind here." Luke states confidently, "Its rather dull I suppose if one isn't-"

"Oh no! I love Norse history. One of my degrees was in history, so I love that stuff." Dinah smiles excitedly, she looks out the window, "Oh, hey! It stopped raining! I guess, we could get going now." Dinah gets up and Luke agrees and joins her as she walks outside.

"It was so lovely meeting you."

"Sorry I bumped into you and got your clothes soaking wet." Dinah makes an embarrassed and apologetic face.

"On the contrary, I'm glad I met you, regardless of the state of my clothing," Luke says sweetly.

"Well, I guess, I'll see you when I see you!" Dinah starts to walk away, but something tells her to turn back. "Hey Luke! I know this may seem a bit forward, but could we see each other again...like...I don't know, maybe right here? For coffee? I mean, a New Yorker can never have too much coffee." Dinah awkwardly shifts in her shoes and chuckles lightly.
