Gale: To Our New Life Together

Gajeel POV

"Come on shrimp! It'll be fun," I say to my girlfriend, Levy.
"I'm busy right now. Maybe another time," she replies.
"But it's so nice out this time of year and with Flame Brain gone, it's boring," I say.
"I said I'm not going. I need to finish translating these." She says while writing down some more words.
"You can finish them when we get back . Please. We haven't done anything with just us in a long time." I say and try giving her puppy eyes.
"Gajeel you know I can't say no to that face."
"I know. That's why I'm using it."
"No is no Gajeel. I'm too busy."
"You need to relax a bit. If you over work yourself, you'll collapse from exhaustion."
"I said no."
"Please!"
She looks at me for a second then says,"Alright fine but when we get back you have to let me work,"
"Okay!"
"I need to go home and pack first and you need a shower," she says and gathers her things.
As she walks out I smile. I run home and shower because I can't wait. I have a huge surprise for her when we get there.
I meet her at the train station. She has two small suitcases.
"I got our tickets. You ready to go?" I ask.
"Yeah!" She says happily. Her smile tells me that she really is excited about this trip.
Once the train starts moving, I feel like crap. She does her best to help me. She always feels bad for me.
An hour or two of suffering will be worth it though.

Levy POV

I don't know why Gajeel wants me to go to the beach with him all of a sudden. I was happy to go with him but I really had a lot of work to do.
I knew he wasn't going to give up until I agreed to go so I guess I didn't have much choice.
After the train ride, Gajeel practically bolted off. We found and inn and dropped off our things. I had secretly take some of my books with me so I could work.
I shoved them in my beach bag and put on a bathing suit and cover up. I met Gajeel outside and we headed to the beach.
It was really nice out. We found a spot and set out blankets. I put up and umbrella to shade us from the bright sun.
"Let's go out to the water," he says.
"I'll met you out there in a bit. I want to relax here for a bit," I lied.
"Okay,"
He went out to the water and once he's a good distance away, I pull out my translations and books.
I start getting to work. After about twenty minutes of working I look up and see Gajeel.
"You really should relax you know,"
"I am relaxing,"
"No you're not, you're reading."
"This is relaxing to me,"
"I don't see how work can be relaxing,"
"It just is,"
"No it's not,"
"Yes it is,"
"No it's not,"
"Yes it is,"
"No it's not,"
"Yes it - wha!" Gajeel throws me over his shoulder and starts running to the water.  "Gajeel!  Put me down!"  I shout, though I am laughing.  I can see the people around us laughing.
      He gets to the water and dunks me under.  He pulls me back up and into a kiss.
       "What was that for?" I ask once we break apart.
      "You weren't being any fun but now you are," he replied.
      I chuckled.  "You're gonna pay for that," I say.  I splash him and he laughs.
       "So u wanna play do you?" He asks then splashes me back. 
      Soon we're running around splashing each other and I completely forget about my work. 
      I know other people are watching us but I don't care.  Whenever I'm with Gajeel I feel like I don't have to worry.
      After and hour we walk back over to our spot and collapse on our towels, exhausted from all of the running around.
      "That was fun," he pants.
      "Yeah.  Thanks for taking me here," I say.
      "Your welcome.  We should do this more often,"
      "Yeah."
      Suddenly he pulls me into a hug.  "I love you," he says
       I smile and lean into him.  "I love you more,"
      "I love you most,"
      "I love you more than the most,"
       "I love you the mostest,"
       "Mostest isn't a word,"
      "You're a dork,"
       "Hey," I say with a pout.
      "You're cute like that," he says.  After that we don't stay anything, just relax on the warm sand.
      "Wanna go on a walk?" He asks after awhile.
      "Sure," I say.  We stand up and go to the water's edge.  The waves just lap over our feet as we walk.
      There are a few other couples walking as well.  The sun is starting to set over the horizon, painting the sky with beautiful colors.
      We walk for awhile until Gajeel stops.  "Can I ask you something?" He asks.
       "Sure," I say.
      I'm surprised when he drops down to one knee.  Other people stop what their doing to look at us.  "Levy,  I've loved you for a long time now and have been thinking about this for a while," he pulls out a small box with a ring inside.  "Levy McGarden, I love you more than anything and I want to be with you forever, so will you marry me?"
      I stand there in shock.  When I finally comprehend what I just heard, I shout,"Of course Gajeel!"
      He puts the ring on my finger and stands up.  He picks me up and presses his lips to mine.  People around us cheer.
      After at least three minutes he puts me down.  "I love you shrimp,"
      "I love you two,"
      He picks me up, bridal style, and starts taking me somewhere.  "Where are we going?"
     He looks at me and smiles "To our new life together,"
