Amora. What the hell!
She used her flashlight to look up at the house and saw a figure in the window. Just by the form she could tell exactly who it was.

Nico. Amora?!

Amora. Nico
She said under her breath.

Nico. Amora say something!
He said yelling from the house.

Amora. I'm fine
She yelled. She wanted to say a lot more than that but words just couldn't form in her mind right now.

She continued to the house and got to the glass door in the front and saw Nico standing in front of it on the other side. He must have been going to bed, he didn't have a shirt on and his hair was a mess.

Nico. What are you doing here?

Then a look of confusion crossed her face she thought that after being away for months he would be happy to see her.

Amora. Can I come in?

He saw she was almost shivering, so he opened the door and let her come in. She sat on the couch and Nico started a fire in the fireplace and then gave her a blanket. He joined her on the couch but all the way at the other end.

Amora. Why are you here Nico?

Nico. I could ask you the same thing

Amora. Everyone is looking for you

Nico. I just needed to get away

Amora. I'm sorry about Angelo

Nico. Yeah
He said looking down at the floor.

Amora reached over to put a hand on his shoulder and he flinched.

Nico. Don't

Amora. What did I do Nico?

Nico. You can stay for the night, I'm going to bed
He said getting up and walking away from her.

What the hell was his problem?

....
Nico's POV

Why Would she just show up here? Better yet why in the hell did Chester bring her here? This is my place! I was getting over her, getting over her love and affection, her touch, everything and she's here again. I just want to grab her and throw her down on my bed bury her in kisses. After all this time this woman still has a hold on me. I climbed back into my bed but how the hell was I going to sleep knowing she's here?

I must have sat there for a while. An hour maybe two.  I got up and went to go check on her. She was still in the same spot on the couch. She was asleep wrapped in my blanket, the fire slowly going out. I scooped her up in my arms and put her in bed.  I sat at the edge after covering her with blankets and I watched her. She's so beautiful I feel like it's been years since I've seen her. I moved her hair from her face and kissed her on the head.

Nico. I missed you Amor

I turned out the light and closed the door. I can't sleep with her. Too much for me. Her body so close to mine, I wouldn't be able to help myself. Keep telling yourself Nico, she's just a girl, you don't love you, you don't need her, she's just a girl. But it sure doesn't feel that way anymore.

...
In the morning she woke up wrapped in covers laying on a bed. How did she get there though? Nico? No way he was being so hostile toward her last night why would he? She must have gotten up and gotten in the bed herself. She decided to get in the shower and change into some of the clothes he already had there. A pair of leggings and a tank top would do. It was the middle of summer and hot.

The last time she was there she had gotten so drunk she almost killed herself. She really lets Nico get under her skin and she didn't quite know why. After her shower she headed downstairs to see Nico cooking. He had his back turned to her and he still didn't have a shirt on.
