[play song at the ellipsis]

joshua watched as tyler stepped energetically across joshua's living room. tyler loved to dance, he loved the attention it brought him whenever he broke out.

joshua's mom carried away in the kitchen, tossing spaghetti noodles in a pot that steamed of boiled water. deciding to make food for the two wild monkeys running around her house, before she would leave them for the first time with a babysitter.

joshua didn't mind watching tyler dance, it was quite entertaining and funny to the older. tyler encouraged joshua to come and join in, reaching out his arms to grasp joshua's. joshua was never fond of dancing, clearly not as much as tyler was.

with a shake of his head, joshua was yanked off the floor and forced to move every way with his arms dangglimg in tyler's grip. tyler was smiling and giggling the entire time as joshua tried to keep his balance from the small tugs of the other's hold.

joshua eventually couldn't take the stepping on toes and collapsed to the carpet, his sore feet coming to a rest from tyler's active ways. toes twitching and thudding, joshua laughed as tyler fell to the floor, as well.

"you're a great dancer, ty." joshua giggled out, giving two claps when tyler bowed. with snickers being heard, other than the sound of an oven ticking from the kitchen, joshua's mom grabbed and set out bowls on the dining table. the boys continued to mess around, running forth in the front room, a game of tag would do that.

"food is almost done, kiddos!" mom shouted from the kitchen, stirring the spaghetti more whilst adding pepper. having a love for culinary food science and baking, joshua's mom didn't mind making them something yummy to fill their empty tummies.

"okay, mom!" joshua breathy yelled, tyler kneeling to and laughing in his face. joshua lay on the ground, out of breath from chasing and desperately needed water. tyler was fast, so fast that joshua couldn't catch up and ended up losing the bet they out on. now he had to give his garlic bread up and do whatever tyler demanded.

he often lost bets but this one was the worst by far; he really liked garlic bread!

mom called for them to sit at the table and tyler raced off, leaving joshua to crawl to the dining room. dramatic of course, but it caught tyler's attention and made the younger feel guilt.

"i'm sorry for being faster than you."

"it's okay."

"i'm not actually sorry."

"oh."

tiny cracks came from joshua's mom, pouring three cups of water and placing them beside the two boys who sat besides each other at the dining table. joshua shushed his mom's sneaky giggles from over-hearing tyler's comment and pouted. tyler covered his mouth as he giggled.

the boys ate as the three talked, both telling his mom stories and getting little laughs here and there from her, even after when she gave mini lectures to joshua about throwing his toys at tyler and how dangerous it could be. tyler nodded his head in agreement, his hands comimg to his mouth while he suppressed laughing at his friend get told a lesson.

spaghetti sauce suddenly appeared on joshua's left cheek when his mom walked to answer the front door and caught the older by surprise. a small gasp ran past joshua's mouth and he gave tyler a look of worry.

"don't wipe sauce on my face!" joshua whispered yelled to tyler, glancing back to his mom to make sure she didn't hear. he didn't want to get his friend in trouble for pulling a tiny prank.

"you're not the boss of me." tyler smugly laughed, joshua confused by the sudden remark. secondly remembering the bet they casted and sighing. tyler tossed a noodle joshua's way, landing it on his lap. a squeak came from the curly haired hue. joshua picked the noodle from his lap and flung it onto tyler's plate it.
