You paced in panic as you waited for your best friend, Lily, to get out of class. As she walked out the calm expression on her face frantically changed to panic as you grabbed her arm an began to tell her what happened...

"So, as you know I have had a crush on," You paused before saying his name, being wary of all the other kids. "J-John..." You whispered in her ear and continued. "For a very long time," Lily nodded as you spoke. "And well... We were assigned as partners in class for some lame project that is HALF our grade!! And the teacher picked out boy-girl partners..."

you continued to rant until almost all your time was up, "GET TO YOUR FLIPPING POINT!" Lily had shouted, clearly not in the mood to hear the rant your were starting. You look at her as her hands were in the all famous 'BOI' position and her eyes filled with irritation.

You sighed and said the words you'd hope to never say again. "I need to confess to him." You looked down feeling the heat quickly rush to face no matter how hard you fought it. Y'all had stopped walking for the bit of silence and you decided to look at her reaction of what you had recently said. You turn over to see Lily wide eyed, mouth open and her hands trying to cover her mouth. "Yes." She said flatly. "Do it." She quickly replied as she had to go to lunch leaving you now flustered.

You were walking to your locker lightly humming 'That Would Be Enough' until you were interrupted. "Hey! (Y/N)!"

You fought the blush and turned around to talk to John. "Oh, hey John!" You smiled. "Well,I was wondering if we could start on a strategy on how we are going to do our project!" The -in your taste- adorable boy said to you.

"U-umm... sure, j-just let me get my stuff ready," you looked over and saw he had his backpack on. "And I could meet you at the library. I-if thats ok with you!" You finished.

You examined his face as he agreed to meet you there an-- 'wait. Was he... blushing?!' No, you quickly pushed the idea out of your head and texted your parents if it was ok. After some negotiating you got your parents to let you stay after school. Finally you were at the library and scanned the place to see John waving his hand to let you know where he is.

Hours later y'all had to say goodbye, but not before him asking you for your number. Once you made it home you new what you had to do. You saw it as a lose-lose situation,

If you confess you could ruin your relationship JUST as friends

And if you don't then you'll be dead just looking at him. You truly loved him, everything about him! You have finally come to a conclusion.

'Hey John, I couldn't get you off my mind. Over the short time of 4 months I've have a big crush on you. And I just really felt the need to tell you about this! I completely understand if you don't feel the same and I already have all the things I need to cope with rejection! Thank you for your time and I hope that we could still be friends.' ー (Y/N)
