Everything is changing. And in a very good way.
This evening, Jesse and I were the only ones awake in the early morning hours. I was in the sitting room, listening to the music player and reading one of the books I had gotten from the library of books in his family home.
I did not see him come in, but then he was suddenly pulling me to my feet and twirling me around in a slow waltz to the music. It had taken me so by surprise that I was breathless before I realized what he was doing. It was then I started laughing, seeing that triumphant smile on his face.
The look he gave me then brought me back to what Father had said before.
And I had to admit I was just as fond of him.
