The Mark of Athena

Chapter 2

Leo

Leo knew he recognised Hazel from somewhere he just couldn't remember where that place was. Through the whole meeting he just stared at her and she just stared back almost on the verge of tears, and  sometimes during the meeting he would talk just for the sake of talking, like when he said Jason would be the leader didn't think Jason was actually the leader he just knew Frank was inches away from hitting him for looking at Hazel.

"LEO LISTEN" shouted Piper.

"What" asked Leo dopishly.

"Reyna was asking us all to show her our powers" snapped Piper.

"I can use fire and I'm immune to it to" said Leo proudly.

"Show us then" said Reyna.

"Let's go outside first" said Leo not wanting to burn Reyna's house down.

When they were all outside Leo made a ball of fire in his hand and made it grow until it was nearly as big as he was, then he clicked his fingers and the fire disappeared.

"That's awesome" said Percy excitedly.

"Thanks" Leo blushed.

"Now Jason show them the flying and the thunderbolts" said Piper.

To start of Jason flew into the air, when he landed everyone congratulated him.

"Now show us the thunderbolts" said Frank.

"What if I hurt someone" Jason complained.

"Just a small one" pleaded Frank.

"Oh okay" said Frank before he summoned down a lightning bolt which scorched the ground that it hit.

"Percy show them what you can do" said Annabeth.

Percy led them to the Little Tiber and made his hands into fists suddenly huge fists then he drew Anaklusmos (riptide) and a giant replica of the sword made out water appeared in one of the fists then Percy put the cap back onto his pen and made the fists go away. Just then the Stolls brothers passed by and saw Percy showing his powers to the others.

"Has Percy told you how he and Annabeth like to make air bubbles under the water and have fun in the water" shouted Conner jokingly, Percy and Annabeth both blushed and Percy sent a playful jet of water towards the twins.

After that Percy and Annabeth were embarassed and said very little. Hazel told Percy to show them the hurricanes that he can make so Percy made a miniature hurricane and showed slashed and stabbed the air to show how he fights with the hurricanes. After Percy had showed his powers they went back to Reyna's house on the way Chiron whispered with Percy and Annabeth, Leo only heard bits of what they said though.

"Deserters" whispered Percy surprised.

"Very few....10 or 11" explained Chiron.

"Talk later" whispered Annabeth.

When they got back to Reyna's house Frank showed them how he could change form by changing into a bear.

"Don't eat me" joked Leo.

But Frank looked like he would if Leo kept on talking. Leo, Piper, Jason and Annabeth if Hazel could do anything but she just looked at Percy and Frank for help. To finish off the session Piper showed how she could charm talk by calling Octavian over and making him eat his own sock.

Hey guys I wanted to say that in a lot of other Mark of Athena fanfic stories Annabeth has a mark so I decided not to have that just to shake things up so if you're wondering I've decided to take a different view on the prophecy and I hope you like it. The second chapter may have been short but I'm sick at the moment so I'm tired. Thanks for reading.
