Chapter 3

Again thanks for reading here is chapter 3. I'll try to make this 2 pages but I doubt it'll work.

Jason

Jason was sure it was just his imagination but it was as if Reyna was staring at him he noticed that she stared at Percy to, Jason was beginning to get suspicious about the two of them. When they were walking away from Reyna's house Jason decided to talk to him.

"It's Percy right" asked Jason.

"Yeah, and you're Jason" asked Percy.

"Yes, I know you and Annabeth are going out but I think Reyna likes you" said Jason.

Percy laughed "When we met she wanted to set Aurum and Argentiam on me and besides you were the one she couldn't take her eyes off".

"I think we used to go out or something my memory is still a bit fuzzy" admitted Jason.

"She told me that you were close to going out but you never actually did" said Percy.

"Has she said much about me" asked Jason.

"I've only been here a few days but the first day we talked she said that Praetors end up going out with each other, about five minutes later she asked me to be the second Praetor".

"So you said yes".

"No I said that I already have a girlfriend".

"How are you Praetor then?"

"When I bet Polybotes I was lifted up on everyones shoulders".

"Oh".

"If you want you can be Praetor I didn't ask for it and I kept all of your stuff".

"No we'll talk about that stuff after the quest"said Jason "Anyway I've got to talk to Reyna about... you know everything".

Jason knocked on Reyna's door.

"Come in" shouted Reyna.

Jason opened the door.

"Oh Jason I didn't think it would be you" said Reyna with fake surprise.

"What did you do while I was gone" asked Jason.

"I worried about you" she replied.

"I need to tell you-".

"That you and Piper are going out"?

"Yes".

"Let me ask you this though, is this you wanting to go out with her or is it just Piper using her powers".

"I want to go out with her" shouted Jason.

"The real you wouldn't have said that, the real you would have seen through her tricks".

"When you want to talk to me like a mature person I'll accept your apoligy".

At the mess hall for dinner Jason was getting to know some of the new Roman campers as well as talking to his old friends (mainly Bobby) but because he was an ex-praetor he had to sit at the praetor's table along with Percy and Reyna.

"So Percy what was your hardest quest".

"Defending New York it was soooooo hard I had to fight Cronos and Hyperion have you ever tried trapping a Titan in a tree"?

"You trapped a Titan in a tree"?

"Yep".

"Big Tree"?

"Average size".

"What happens when the tree dies".

"Grovers friends have made sure it will never die don't worry".
