Chapter 6

Piper

Piper had been walking to the mess hall when she heard shouts coming from inside the mess hall followed by Percy storming out.

"I'll follow him you check inside" Piper said to Jason.

Percy started jogging and Piper had to run to keep up with him, he finally stopped beside the little tiber and sat down then he started sobbing.

"What happened" she asked.

"Piper go away."

"What?"

"Sorry I was blaiming you for what your mom did."

"What did she do?"

"She made me pick Annabeth over Calypso."

"What you don't mean that, you and Annabeth are great together."

"You've known me for a couple of days."

"So, I've known Annabeth for a year and the only thing she ever talks about is you."

"I don't want to talk right now."

"What happened?"

"Go away."

"Not until you tell me what happened."

"Annabeth found out that I was stranded on Calypso's island."

"What's so bad about that?"

"Calypso falls in love with everyone who gets stranded on her island."

"Oh."

"Now will you go away?"

"No you're the leader of the quest I need to make sure you're alright."

But Percy just got into the river and dived to the bottom. Piper was annoyed and wasn't in the mood for breakfast so she went back to the barracks and lay down on her bed.

"You've got to bring them back together again" said a voice from behind her.

She turned and saw Aphrodite standing behind her, "Percy said he was blaiming me for what you did but what did you do?"

"I like Percy Jackson so I decided to mess around with his love life."

"So why should I get them back together when you were the one that made the mistake?"

"Because Annabeth is a smart girl and she would know it's me trying to put them back together, but if it was coming from her friend she might get back together with him."

"He said he wish's he had picked Calypso over Annabeth though."

"Then we have a problem" Aphrodite admitted

"What if you were to take the shape of Annabeth and trick them into getting back together."

"Who would trick Annabeth into getting back together with Percy."

"You take Percy's form then?"

"Could you?"

"Yes but I'm not going to change into a guy."

"The fate of Olympus depends on them being together."

"Then Olympus will have to find someone else to change into Percy."

"Would Cupid do it?"

Ten minutes later Piper was talking to Cupid and Aphrodite.

"So you two will change at the same time Mom you'll go to the barracks and bring Percy with you, Cupid you'll go to Percy's house with Annabeth."

"What if Percy wants to kiss and make up?"

"Pretend he's my dad and do it."

"He'll know it's me though."

"Yes because Aphrodite will decide to disguise herself as someone's girlfriend just to kiss them, he's not an idiot."

"So if he's smart it will work but if he's an idiot it won't?"

"You're the goddess you know."

"Oh I'll do it but it's for Olympus."

"Okay now go" Piper said and pushed Cupid and Aphrodite out the door.
