ZANE'S POV

"Look Zane!" Pinkie Cake said, pointing at the cupcake store "We could stop by for some cupcakes if you'd like to!"
"Of course!!!" I said. Of course I was excited. I jumped onto Pinkie Cake's back and then she continued to walk over to the cupcake store. But then suddenly, Pinkie Cake tripped over a branch and fell, causing me to launch straight into the wall! WHAM! I woke up from my bed and rubbed my eyes. I looked around and realized that whole thing was just a dream. I was so upset.
"GRR..WHY CAN'T I JUST STAY SLEEPING!"
Then my alarm went off. I was wondering why I had an alarm set up. I get up then walked over to my alarm to turn it off. I turned it off and looked up to my calender. Today was my first day of highschool....
   I groan and looked through my closet to find my school uniform. Well...it used to be Garroth's. It got small on him so he gave it to me. I changed into my uniform and walked downstairs to eat some breakfast. Usually I make my own breakfast but my mother was making it for me. And I see my father getting ready for work.
"Morning ZuZu!!!", she walked over to me and hugs me tightly, ugh..and we all know how much I hate hugs.
"MOM!!! You know how much I hate those..hugs!" I yelled, waking up my two other brothers. They take way longer to get ready than I do. I'd go without them but I didn't know which way. I had to walk to go to our high school so I had to wait for Garroth. Who takes the longest.
"Want some breakfast ZuZu? I made pancakes!"
"Thanks but, no thanks. I'll just eat the breakfast at school."
"Ok but you might regret it!~" She said continuing making her pancakes.
I rolled my eyes and see both my brother walk over to me.
"Ready for ur first day of school?" Garroth said.
"HECK YEAH!" Vylad shouted.
"No...it's gonna be the same thing but more homework."
They both rolled there eyes. Garroth and Vylad finished there pancakes and we all started walking to school. As soon as we get there we all split up. Garroth went to is best friend Laurance and Vylad went some place else. How do I know his name is Laurance? Laurance always comes over to our house to do either homework, play video games, or work on a project with Garroth.
"Well I guess we could start by looking for my classrooms..." I said to myself. I waited in line to get a paper that has all my class periods. I took out my cellphone and played the games I had. Someone tapped on my shoulder. "Excuse me, but is this the line for our class periods?" I turned around and see a boy with white hair and green eyes. He looked like one of those shy kids. But he also looked...cute....w-wait...did I just say cute?! Never mind that...
"U-um..yeah..." I was basically frozen..I've never talked to anyone before besides my family. He didn't say anything after that he just walked behind me also waiting in line. I just turned around and continued playing games on my phone again. Finally, we got our class periods. "H-hey! What's your first period?" He said, trying to get to know me, or to...be my friend? "Oh...I have homeroom. Room 53." "R-really?! Me to!" He said back to me! I sighed because I knew what he was gonna say. "Wanna walk together?" He said. Yep...exactly what I expected him to say. I was nice for once and said yes. The bell was gonna ring soon anyways. Plus if I said no he would keep annoying me. Or just follow me. We walked together to our homeroom and finally arrived there. I decided to sit in the way back in the left corner. This "white-haired elf" wanted to sit next to me but I gave him a look that said to back off. He decided to sit in the back also but in the right corner. I should've asked for his name when I had the chance. The bell rings and our teacher walks in. You could already tell he was one of those stressed out teachers. A small, a really small freshmen runs in.
"Your late." The teacher said in a serious tone.

*Time Skip*

The bell finally rings and everyone was headed to there second period. "H-hey!" I looked behind me and see that white-haired elf again...."*sigh* what!" I shouted at him. Why is he even talking to ME? "What's your second period?" He said. I prayed that he wouldn't have the same class as me. "Math. Room 43." And guess what...."W-wow! REALLY! I have the same class also!" I just walked away from him but he followed me. "Um..I never got the chance to ask for your name." He said, trying to start up a conversation. "What's your name?"
"M-my name?!" I was shocked. No one ever asked me that question! What? Do you expect me to have friends like everyone else? Nope!
"My name is Zane! Zane Ro'meave."
"Cool name!" He said. DID HE JUST COMPLIMENTED MY NAME?! "Um...thanks!" I said trying not to be awkward. "What's your name?"
"Oh right! My name's-" The bell rings before he could say. We both looked at each other and we were panicking because we were late for our second period class. We ran to our classroom and sat next to each other in the back. We were lucky because our teacher was late before he could take attendance.
