Wow.

I did not expect to see that when I meditated! Considering my fear of pregnancy and childbirth. Now, you may be curious. What do I mean by this?

I meditated just now and I saw something from as a cat. Kittens!

They could've just been any kittens. After all, they bore no resemblance to me... at all. But genetics isn't just about outer appearance and resemblance... it's the inside genes that count.

They were newborn kittens. And they were mine. Like. I just gave birth to them. What. On. Earth.

I pushed four tiny things out of me as a cat and they were someone's future happinesses.

What the hell.

But I know it happened! And I'm sure ya'll are wondering how the hell it happened. As in... why did they not look like me? Well, colourpoint is a recessive gene, and both parents must be colourpoint or carry it to have at least one colourpoint kitten. I guess the father was the ginger and white cat. He mustn't have carried the colourpoint gene in his pedigree. As a sealpoint, I was genetically black.

Black cat + red cat (assuming they carry no dilution, chocolate, or cinnamon) = black sons and tortoiseshell daughters

I had two black sons and two tortie daughters. One of the black kittens had white on them and one of the tortoiseshell kittens had white paws. The white spotting must've come from the father.

Okay, I just think it's super weird. And I know ya'll might think it's suspicious I know this much information, but I have researched cat genetics for a while. I know a lot about feline biology and genetics, so I know the answer ;)

Neither of us must've carried any dilution, chocolate, or cinnamon. Well, actually, after doing some Punnett squares, one of us could've carried the trait, or even both of us but it didn't show. Maybe. If one of us carried dilution then half the kittens would carry it as well, same with chocolate and cinnamon.

But who knows?

I can't do genetic tests. I am only making assumptions.

I honestly think this is super weird...

Okay, that's all I'll say. Goodbye! :) Thanks for reading!
