Sara's POV:
Okay, I made it through another day. I'm so tired of acting all the time. Being happy, staying strong. Yet somehow when Lexi turned up out of nowhere I found a little sister in her that I had...
No! Stop thinking Sara you will get upset again and you will blow it all up. Keep the secret. Stay strong and most of all Believe in yourself. Yes, just believe and everything will be okay.
After a long day at school and also having some ice cream with Lexi I made my way home. Just breath, its okay.
"He is not there anymore. Neither is she." I whispered quietly to myself. It is the same routine I follow everyday and is one of the big reasons why I never invite my friends over to my house. To many memories haunts this place, so many I never ever want to reveal.
I notice my house just around the old oak tree. Big and strong as it always stood there. The biggest secrets inscribed right at its very roots. One of the secrets that haunts me every night and day.
A secret I will never tell, or maybe I will tell Lexi one day. First I've just got to trust her more. Its been such a long time and a broken heart along with it.
No, just stop it. I will not go there. Not just yet. My house is now only two steps away. The big old grey one, with the two large windows, creaky old wooden door with the big faded red numbers 46 on it. It had the most beautiful garden you will ever lay your eyes on. Roses, lilies, every kind you can imagine with a bright green grass. Even though the house is old, it's gardens always been the pride and joy.
I remember how my mom used to play around with my little sister. Dad playing music and we all just laughed and enjoy the day. I remember my little sisters hands folding into mine and we plucked a bright red rose and braid it into each others hair. Then we pluck aome other flowers and rub up to Mommy and braid her hair with the flowers.
It was a beautiful memory. Yet a very sad one. I will maybe reveal later why. If only the tear drops will stop flowing.Inside of my house there are wooden floors and a great lot of family portraits.
I always go stand by the biggest one, displaying two little girls with the biggest smile you can ever imagine on their pretty little faces as one of the girls had a butterfly landing right on her shoulder. A man and woman stood laughing and smiling behind the two girls.
Yes, I remember that smile on that woman's face. It was the last time I saw it for myself. Down the hall the first door to my left was my bedroom. Filled with memories of these two girls, long lost over the years.
Maybe tonight I will dream of her again. That's where she always promised to visit me. She always kept her promises...
The following morning the sun woke me up. I took one long shower, brushed my teeth and combed my hair. As always I took breakfast with me on my way to school and wait for Brain.
The last few days Lexi had been in our group I noticed that Brain had not been himself. He never insisted on helping Ruthess neither Sofia on their first day of school. So why did he do it when Lexi arrived? Was it because e also sensed her strong power.
So many questions this early in the morning. I know droolers are dumb, but really I hate it when I can't even figure out my best friend since kinder garden. We have been friends from birth and still he manages to surprise me everyday.
Maybe I am just a dumb old drooler. Nope! Not going there. Not after what happened last time. Not even Brain remembers everything. He just thought I was imagining things, but I didn't I am the only one who knows and as long as I live I will find a way back. I just know I can.
"Hey Sara bear, why are you always this early at school? The ghost haunting you again?" Sofia said in a really irritating voice.
Great like I didn't had enough to think about."No dolly. In fact, its your off pair of eyebrows that is frightening me" and I made a scared face.
Immediately Sofia's hands are in her purse searching for the small ball like mirror she always carries with her and shock and horror filled her face when she realized I was right. I almost couldn't stop myself from laughing out loud. Yes, sometimes having powers does have it's bright side.
Sara looked at me furiously. "Fix it now!" She made an attempt to grab my arm, but with my speed and defense classes I avoided her hands and just float up into the air.
I saw Sara getting an tantrum and I just laughed at her attempts to reach me. I love flying. With this height I could see Brain's truck on the way. I felt relieved.
Later I went down and Lexi also turned up. Also trying to fly. Not succeeding. I laughed and went onto hug her and Brain. We walk up the big stairsbto our old school and went tobour aok tree waiting lastly for Ruthess. Again he is always late.
Even tho he has the fastest bike in our school that guy seems never to show up early. I think if it wasn't for his bike he wouldn't even make school in time.
