The Big Secret

Chapter 15

Brain' POV:

I noticed this morning that some guy in some random car was looking at Lexi. I try to tell her,but the time she turned around the car already made a break for it. Now my curiosity got a hold on me. After that night Lexi had such a bad dream I became more protective over her. As I know for each horrible dream there is a dark secret. I never press Lexi for answers instead I waited for her to trust me and tell me herself. What can possibly be that bad that you turn cold at night just by dreaming about it?. My mind kept on asking me. It's been a week after that night and I'm no where close to finding out. Luckily I'm very patient, but something inside of me also started to change. The more I get to interact with Lexi and get to know her the more I needed to find out. It's like my whole life depended on knowing her better and be there for her. So I made a plan for tonight.

"Hey Lexi, can I have a date with you tonight?" I ask hoping that my plan will work. Luckily its also a friday night so she can stay as late as she wanted to. "Okey Brain, but I have to make sure my mom says its alright. After I spened that one night with u I forgotten to tell her where I was. She even called the police!" The look on Lexi's face was priceless and I just had to laugh at the idea of what she had to say to her worried mom. Oh man, this girl is really something special. I heard her calling her mom and a sign of relief filled her face when her mon said yes.

Later that day after school I drove Lexi to her house and said I will pick her up by 6. She just smiled and disappear behind the door. Again I noticed the car from this morning just passed by when I started the car to drive home. Hmm, weird. Was all I could say. I hurried home and told my dad that I'm yet again going out tonight with Lexi. He had a smile on his face like a kid who just heard he can have a full bowl of ice cream before dinner. I just shake my head and went to my room. My room was nothing great. Just a few posters of car's and bike's. My room was a black and grey combination. Just the way I like it. I went to my closet and got some clothes out. After taking a nice long shower I got dressed and went off to Lexi's house.

The time I got there Lexi was already waiting on the sidewalk. She had a nice blue dress on with some black high heels. I have to say, she really does look better in blue then her pink dress she wore the other night. I really like it and it brings here eyes out even more beautifully. I really have to get my head straight or I will never get the courage to ask her what she is hiding.

We went to the hill again and on the way we picked up some ice cream and milkshakes. As we lay there on the picnic blanket and pillows I brought with I couldn't imagine a perfect timing to ask her what is really happening. "Hey Lexi. I know I will invade some of your privacy, but I just can't keep the curiosity at bay any longer." She look at me with wondering eyes. "What are you talking about brain?" She said while turning on her side to look at me straight in the eyes. "Well the other night when we where here. You got a really bad dream and I have been seeing this weird car everywhere near your house and at school. I just wanted to know whats wrong and why are you having bad dreams like that?" I said best of explanation as I could.

Not so fast my readers. Haha the truth is yet to be revealed, but I will keep you wondering for now. Did you really think I will reveal Lexi's secret now. Nope you just have to keep guessing and I just can't wait to hear what you guys think it is. Do you really think she will tell Brain the truth? Or will she still keep everything hidden.
