I got to the hospital and went to the nurses station.
"Cora hale please." I ask.
"Are you family?" The snotty nurse asked me.
"Yes. Im her sister in law." I say kind of quickly.
"Room 324 4th floor." She said.
"Thank you." I told the nurse and ran towards the elevator. I rush down the hall until I finally reach her room. Derek is in there sitting in a chair with his head in his hands. "Derek." I say softly. His head pops up. As soon as he sees me, his face floods with relief. He jumps out of his chair and runs to me. He wraps his arms around my face and buries his face into my neck. I sway back and forth, cooing him. "It's going to be okay, Der." I tell him softly. I slowly walk us over to where he previously sat. He sits down but pulls me along with him.
Two hours later, I'm pacing the floor and Derek has Cora's left hand in his own. I hear shuffling, expecting its Derek.
"Derek?" I hear a voice croak out. I snap my head to the source and so does
Derek."Hey. Hey I'm here. I'm not going anywhere. Not this time." He says softly. I walk over to where they are.
"I'll make sure of it." I reassure them. She smiles at me.
"You're good for him." She says. I return a smile. Just then Peter walks in.
"Thank God you're awake." Peter says actually having worry in his voice. After spending about 15 minutes of talking about what's going on, Derek gets a call.
"Cadence and I have to go back to the loft. Watch her Peter. Protect her. She's all we got left." He tells Peter. Peter nods in confirmation. We leave the hospital and hop in my car.
"Why are we going back?" I question.
"Scott. He says he has something to tell us about the darach." I only nod. Once we got back to the loft, Scott and Stiles meet us there.
"The teacher. The one that cadence saved when she let Cora and Boyd rip her up. She's the darach." Scott starts.
"Yeah. We saw her having Lydia tied up to a chair and then my dad stepped in and she took him." Stiles said. Tears in his eyes. It kind of makes sense. It started happening when she came around.
"She's here. Stiles and I need to hide for right now." Scott said. They walked out of the loft and went to the right. Not 2 minutes later she walked in.
"Cadence?" She yelled out. I walked out of the shadows. "Oh thank god. Something's happened. At the high school." She breathed out.
"Like what?" I asked.
"You have to believe you. You believe me right?" I gave a slight nod. She hugged me but quickly let go. "They're already here. Aren't they?" She turned towards the loft door. Stiles and Scott walked through. "So they told you it's me? That I'm going around taking people?" She asked me. That's when Derek walked out and Scott spoke up.
"We told her you're the one killing people." He said.
"Oh yeah. That's right. I probably do it on my lunch break. Then go back to teaching high school students. That makes perfect sense." She quickly said.
"What happened to Lydia?" Derek stepped in.
"Lydia Martin? I don't know anything about that." She said.
"Then what do you know?" I asked.
"I know, for whatever reason, theses students are accusing me of things that are far fetched. Stuff they can't prove by the way." She growled.
