I've been so caught up with school I don't know what day it is. Darry is always on my tail about school and sports. I need a smoke. I always smoke, unlike my brothers Darry doesn't smoke, he's too worried about his health for smoking and Sodapop only smokes to look tuff or when he's upset or nervous.

I'm hanging out with Johnny today. He's my best friend. Our age difference is only two years so we're really close. He's 16 but looks my age, 14. He doesn't like when people point it out either. I was planning on to the movies to see a Paul Newman movie. His movies are my favorites. The first movie I went to with Johnny was Gone With the Wind. I really want that book.

"Hey Johnny!" I said when he walked into my house. "Hey Pony" he said "I can't go to the movies today, I'm showing Paige around." Paige. Paige who's Paige. Why is Johnny ditching me for Paige. "Who's Paige?" I asked quite annoyed. "The girl from the park. The one Dal thought jumped me. Oh, right. It's been months since that happened. Two, I think. "I hope you don't mind, Pony." he said. "No it's fine man. Two-Bit might want to go pick up some girls there I'll ask him." "Cool, alright I'm gonna go now." he said stepping through the door "Have a good time Pony!" I smiled "Thanks, you too."

I'm at the movies with Two-Bit. His name is Keith Mathews but everyone refers to him as Two-Bit, even teachers. I don't think anyone remembers his real name. Anyways, he's a huge flirt, always goofing around, looking under girls skirts. And all they do is giggle. He actually quite charming. He loves Mickey Mouse and wears his Mickey shirt all the time.

Two-Bit and I were on the way to my house when we saw Johnny with who I'm guessing is Paige sitting on the grass laughing. "Hey isn't that Johnnycake?" Two-Bit asked "Yeah" I replied "He's showing her around town." I mumbled. Two-Bit whistled and said " Johnnycake scored a girl! I've gotta ask him bout' it later." Two-Bit's always trying to set us up with girls but he always fails. And I think Johnny's found one he likes...
