Your POV

My eyes began to flutter open. I looked up and down at my surroundings. My eyes went wide at the sight before me.

"Finn..." My sleepy voice croaked.

"Hm?" He hummed.

"Why are you hugging my stomach?" Finn had both arms wrapped around my waist, as he rested his head on my tummy. His eyes shot open, and he pulled himself off me. I let out a small laugh. "What happened to the pillow?" He shrugged at me. "Okay... I'm gonna go shower, you can do whatever. My parents leave around 4:30 A.M so you can go downstairs and get some food, I guess."

"Thanks, Hotness."

"Why do you call me that?" I replied, combing my fingers through my hair to let out the nerves.

"It suits you." He smirked. I rolled my eyes and headed toward my bathroom.

Time Skip >> Arriving At School

Finn and I walked into the school, he had one arm wrapped around me. We got countless stares from my peers. It felt so weird, they could see me. If I had come alone, I could've walked in here burning down in flames, and they wouldn't have even batted an eyelash.

About thirty feet away, I spotted Kristen. She gave me an uncertain look like she couldn't believe this person was wrapped around me. I stopped in front of the office.

"Y-You better go to class..."

"Why?" He responded.

"Don't wanna be late," I muttered, my eyes darted to Kristen she was now approaching us. I could hear my heartbeat in my ears... Oh god. Finn looked in the direction I was and saw the blonde coming at us.

"Are you embarrassed to be seen with me or something?"

"No, I'm not. It's just, she's- dammit." I stammered quietly.

"C'mon Hotness, speak up!"

"Hey, Y/n!" Kristen interrupted, she had a snobby smile on her face.

"Hi, Kristen..."

"Ugh! Y/n, introduce me." She giggled, looking at Finn.

"Finn, this is Kristen. Kristen, this is Finn." Finn said nothing, he just looked her up and down.

"So, how do you know my best friend?" Kristen said putting an arm around my sides.

"We're not best friends," I said, managing to pull out of her grasp.

"Ouch, Y/n..." She pouted, "Whatever, I'm sure Finn would like to be my friend." Kristen smirked, grabbing his hand. He quickly pulled his hand out of hers and shook his head no.

"Sorry, I'm not into socially ranked psychopaths, but if you wanna help me out, you could leave Y/n and me alone... Forever." He smiled. I let out a small laugh and immediately covered my mouth trying to hold it in. Kristen scoffed.

"So, did Y/n ever tell you why she's so quiet?" She arched an eyebrow.

"Shut it," I growled. Her devilish smile returned to her face. She was trying to get to me...

"Aww, you don't want Finnie to know about your little problem?"

"Problem?" Finn said looking back at me. I kept my head low and avoided eye contact.

"Why don't you tell, Y/n?" I stayed silent. "No? Okay... I'll do it! Y/n's so quiet because daddy didn't love her, and as soon as she was born he packed up and was gone faster than booze at an AA meeting. Make sense... How could anybody love you?"
