Evan's Pov- I wake up in the back seat of my car with Taissa clutched tightly on my side. I would love to sleep like this all day, but I had to wake Taissa. "Tai, wake up you have a doctor's appointment today" I nudge her awake she groans and rubs her eyes. "What, why?" "Tai you have haven't went once to the Doctor to check on our child" I say. "Because Ev I wanted to wait until you were with me I felt like you needed to experience it just as much as I did" I kiss her on the lips. "Thank you" she smiles and touches my cheek. "Of course" I say. I then hand her dress and pearls and shoes. After she gets done dressing she hands me my clothes. After helping each other out We hop into the front seats and head off to the doctor.
Taissa's Pov- I walk to the front desk nervous. The other women waiting sit rubbing their stomachs while looking at me. The front desk clerk looks at me. "Yes?" She says. "Um I have a 2:30 appointment for Peters" the lady types something in. "Yep please sit down and fill this out" she hands me a clipboard. "And the Doctor should be right with you" I take ahold of Evan's hand worried. He looks over at me "hey it's okay Tai we will get through this" I nod my head and finish filing out the information on the clipboard. The doctor steps out. "Taissa?" She sticks her hand out. "Hi I'm doctor Palmer"I shake it and so does Evan. She takes us back to a small exam room and sits us down. "So you haven't been to an OBGYN about this pregnancy before?" She says looking at my clipboard. "No mam" she nods her head. She walks over to a cabinet and slips on some gloves. "Is this your first pregnancy Mrs. Peters? " "yes mam" she smiles. "Well all I can say is, is that it will be all worth it in the end" she says.She then pulls out a bottle and opens it. "Pull up your shirt please and this will be very cold" she squeezes a large amount over my skin. "Mmmf" I say. Evan looks at me with concern. "So cold" I reply. She then pulls out a little wand like thing and glides it across my stomach. Before long she pauses. I look over to see what she is looking at Evan is also looking at it and whatever it is it's making him cry. I squeeze his hand out of reassurance. I then look over at his gaze to see the first sight of my Child. I gasp in shock. "Beautiful" I murmur. Evan looks at me with pure love and adortion. "I cannot believe that's ours" he whispers. The doctor the looks over at us. "Now you can find out the gender today or we can wait or-" "Today" I say."But I want Evan to step outside because it needs to be a suprise for him" I say.Evan looks at me with pure sadness. "If you do this I will reward you later" I whisper. He smiles. He stands up and walks out. The doctor turns to me once he does. "Okay so..."
