Taissa's Pov- I was up 5 different times of the night feeding changing or just singing a lullaby, Evan was up the other 6 times by 6 am we were both wide awake and restless from sleep depravation. It had only been one hour since liam's last outburst and at any mintue Evan and I were ready to leap out of bed and up to liam's room we would be. "You know 18 years is a long time" I say rolling over facing Evan. "As long as they are spent with you and my lovely son, then the late night feedings and changings are worth it in the long run." Evan says. He leans in to kiss me, but I pull away he frowns hurt. "Babe I need a shower" I say. "So do I" he says. We look at each other with a glimmer in our eyes. And soon we are up out of bed and into the shower. We were midway through when the shrieking cry of a newborn pierces through the air. Evan and I look at each other. "Maybe he will quiet down?" I say in a hopeful tone. "Nah Tai, he's got to be needing something or else he wouldn't be crying." We stand there continuing our shower for five more mintues until he gets louder we jump out wet with shampoo in our hair body wash on our bodies and soaking wet. I get Evan and myself a towel. Evan wraps it around his waist while I wrap mine fully around my body. He slips on the floor. "Ow!" Evan yells. I start laughing a little and before he knows it, he's chuckling himself. We run upstairs to liam's nursery and find him laying very still in a vomit covered and urine covered onesie, he soaked right through the diaper. Evan quickly rushes liam over to his bathroom to fix him a bubble bath, while I change liam and throw his onesie in the washer and his diaper in the trash. I then pick out him a outfit for the day and a new diaper. Liam is currently kicking and screaming on the changing table. "Shh it's okay" I say. I carry him over to Evan who lays him in his baby tub and starts washing him up. Liam calms down once he notices Evan. Evan washes himself while cleaning liam and he scoots over to let me bathe. Liam I know won't have a trouble getting a bath, he enjoys it from what I can tell. After the bath I lotion and moisturize liam down while Evan puts his diaper on him and put his clothes on him. I slip on his bib. And then go fetch his breakfast. Evan then takes over from there feeding and burping. And afterwards get's liam settled in. "I love you liam" Evan says. He then closes his door and walks with me downstairs. "Are you hungry?" Evan asks. "Nah let's just go back to bed" he nods and helps me change into comfortable clothing and he does too and he holds me close once we finish. "I love you Tai" "I love you too Evan" I say.
We wake up around 10 a little refreshed, but not much. I roll over and kiss Evan on the lips.Evan grins and climbs on top of me. "Well your pretty naughty for being this tired" he says. I wiggle my eyebrows. "Well I am innocent in my defense" I say pushing him down on the bed. "Not when I get done with you, you won't" Evan says. He starts kissing my neck, sucking here and there. That is until liam wakes up. Evan groans and rolls off of me. I get up and throw my robe on and go upstairs. I find liam kicking and thrashing. I scoop him up and start cuddling him. "Did you miss mommy?" He scrunches his eyebrows and starts crying louder. "Okay, okay" I carry him downstairs to the kitchen and grab a baby bottle from the fridge heating it and then continue my mission on feeding liam. He sucks it down instantly and I go straight to burping him. Afterwards I take him to our master bedroom to Evan. Evan gladly takes liam and rocks him in his arms, liam falls asleep on instant. I wrap my arms around Evan. "Your such a good dad" I whisper. Evan looks over at me. "I try" he says. Evan's cellphone rings from the nightstand. "Hello?" He speaks into the phone while clutching liam. "Nah man not tonight, Tai and the baby needs me the most for now maybe another night, alright bye" Evan hangs up his phone and lays it down. "Who was that?" I ask. "My friend from Highschool he wants us to catch up since he's in Maine for the week and weekend. " Evan says rocking liam. "Well do it" I say. "What? Tai no you need me, liam needs me I-" I shake my head and put my finger over his lips. "No I insist" I say. He looks at me. "I will be fine, besides I have liam" I look down and squeeze liam's chubby hand. "Tai I-" I give him a look. "It's okay trust me" I say. He gives me a peck on the lips. "If things get crazy let me know" he says. He hands me liam and gets ready. "I love you guys" Evan says. "We love you too"
