Taissa's Pov- I wake up in the middle of the night to a screaming and crying liam. I get out of bed and go upstairs. I find liam squirming around in his crib with flushed cheeks. I feel his forhead which is burning up and sweaty. I go into the bathroom upstairs and grab his baby thermometer and then I take off his onesie and slide it under his armpit. Once it beeps letting me know it's done I gasp at what it reads. 100.6. I run into the upstairs and wash the thermometer off. I then open the medicine cabinet pulling out Newborn infant fever medicine and I run back to liam's room. I pick up the plastic baby syringe and I put a few tablespoons of the medicine into it. I then open liam's mouth which wasn't hard to do and I pushed down on the top causing the liquid to enter his mouth. I then set that down and grab a washcloth and dampen it with lukewarm water. Then I carry it back to liam's room and grab liam and sit down in the rocking chair. I start rocking back and forth and eventually liam calms down and settles into sleep. I keep rocking him as I check my phone for anything recent. As soon as I'm about to click on my lockscreen Evan calls wanting to video Chat. I answer to hear a very groggy voice. "Good Morning Tai" his voice sounds sexy even after he has just woke up. "Hi honey Good morning to you to I see you have just woken up" I say. "Yeah, I'm a little jet lagged too, but enough about me how are you and liam?" "Better now since you have called, he has been running a fever and I have given him some medicine so hopefully it will break." Evan looks at me and then at liam. "I love you buddy, I hope you get to feeling better" liam's eyes open to the voice of his father. He looks at him for a moment trying to study him. "That's daddy liam can you say hi?" I say talking to him. Liam looks at me and then back to Evan. He opens his hand and sticks his finger against my phone screen. Liam starts laughing and smiling at Evan. Evan and I start laughing looking into each other's eyes not wanting to look away. Eventually Evan, liam, and I fall asleep video chatting, smiling, and laughing.
