Taissa's Pov- The. best days are the one's that go fast. The day was almost as perfect as it could go, Liam slept in late up until 10 while Evan and I got sometime alone before he awoke. The day has come for Evan to depart and go onset for the X-men film. "I'm going to miss you and liam when I'm gone" Evan says tracing my cheek with his index finger. "We'll miss you too" I say leaning into kiss him. Time has passed eventually 10 am turned to 12 then to 4 which ment Evan's departure. I remember it like it was yesterday. Evan and I were pushing liam on a swing at the nearby park when Evan checked his watch and frowned. "I got to Tai" Evan says staring at me with sad eyes. I nod my head and try to hold back the tears.
Evan had just finished packing and was waiting to say goodbye to liam and I. I had been sitting on the floor with liam playing when Evan stepped into the room. I look back at liam. "I'm going to give daddy his last send off okay, you good?" liam nodded his head. Over the past few months liam has learned to nod and shaking his head yes and no. Liam nods his head to my question. "Do you want to say bye to dada?" he shakes his head no in response. "Okay" Evan and I join hands he leans down and kisses liams cheek and ruffles his dark brown curls. "Love you liam" Evan says. Liam looks up at him and gives him a goofy grin. Evan and I walk outside,but before I walk out I give liam a wink and then turn towards his father and leave.
"I love you Tai" Evan says holding my hands. "Love you too Ev be safe" he was almost fully down the walkway and to the car when I felt a breeze push by me. Before my brain could process liam was toddiling down the stairs and down the walkway. "Dadddddy!" he squeals out. Evan turns on his heels and drops his suitcase. Liam toddles toward him. "Daddy pwease don't go." Evan opens his arms as liam goes into his embrace. "Oh my precious son daddy couldn't leave you or mommy-." he says glancing up toward the porch. "Even if someone paid me too." Evan says with tears in his eyes. I stand crying too in pure shock and happiness my baby boy took his first steps to try and stop his father from going and leaving to film. Evan leans down and whispers something and liam nods happily along while his brown curls bounce along too. Evan walks up to me "liam wants to go." he says. I give a hesitant look down at liam and then back at Evan, but I flash a smile and wipe my tears away to go upstairs. Liam crawls upstairs to where I'm at. After zipping up his suitcase and baby bag I look over at him."you sure this is what you want liam.?" I say. He nods and crawls back down the stairs and back to Evan, Evan stands outside finishing fastening the last straps of the carseat. Afterwards, he puts his and liams suitcase in the back. He then turns to me and kisses me and then takes liam. Liam leans over with Evans help of course and kisses my cheek. Afterwards Evan straps him in and turns back to me to give my hands a quick rub and squeeze before getting in the car. I wave them bye until they fade from my hindsight. I know we will all be together again soon when it calls for time.
