Just in time for St. Valentine

I didn't talk to anyone about the incident in the lab. Not even Alan. So next day all I tried to do was avoid Nifer or Jen or whatever's flirty looks and smiles. Alan asked me what was wrong, he always knew when something bothered me, and I said it was family stuff. He didn't push further.

I found a very adorable sight when I was walking to my locker after school. Tobo and Elli were sitting against the wall opposite, Elli had Tobo's acoustic and Tobo was behind her, his hands guiding her's and moving the fingers to the right places. I almost did a Simon and awwed in a high pitch but resisted and just coughed loudly. Both looked up and Tobo pulled his hands into his lap, grinning sheepishly and Elli blushed slightly "We're leaving" I told him and smiled "Yeah. Course" He said and Elli handed him his acoustic "See you tomorrow" she said and walked the other way.

"It's not that hard Tobo" I said exasperated from Tobo insisting that chemistry was the work of the Devil. "Maybe for you! All I've ever learned in the streets was: good places to sleep, good places for food and how to avoid cops 101" he said angrily as he snapped his fifth pencil in half. "Fine." I said and leaned back in my chair "If you don't want to learn than I'll go. Be dumb for all I care!" And I headed for the common room door. I almost walked out but I heard quiet sobbing from behind me and turned around to see tears falling onto Tobo's homework, thick and fast, peppering the paper. He was shuddering slightly. "I'm...Tobo I'm sorry. I didn't mean to hurt you" I said and walked back to the table "No, no, it's fine" he said as he wiped tears from his face and looked up at me "Tell me again. I'll get it this time." And he rummaged around in his bag for another pencil "You sure?" I questioned and he nodded "Alright then" I said and he hunkered down to finish his Chem work.

"Finité!" Tobo exclaimed and slammed down his pencil, a huge grin plastered on his face "Awesome, mate" I said and clapped him on the back as he shoved his work into his bag. "Now...off to Halo!" I announced and we basically ran straight to my room and played Halo until Tobo had to leave. He and Sparks left a little bit before I did. I liked helping Tobo but I don't know why he started crying. Maybe I was being to mean to him. I didn't meant it. I didn't like being mean. I didn't want to stoop to Owen's level.

I Skyped EJ when I got home and we talked about when I would be coming to DC for Minecon in a few weeks "Just in time for Valentines day" I said and EJ blushed "Just in time for Valentines" she repeated and we said goodbye before going to bed. I lay back and remember Valentines in first year, the valentines when I had first kissed Nifer. Our first date, I still remember the entire movie and after and the worry before she even got there. I remembered it all. But now I'll make new memories with EJ. Everything will be just fine. Just in time for St. Valentine.

Sorry for the lack of updating, I'm just having some writers block and other issues. So anyways, hope you like this weird chapter :)
