Chapter 31 : Paper Dance ❤
*** Flashback Continues ***
Sanyukta walked back in daze and bumped into a muscular wall when she glanced up to look at the person he was none other than Randhir.
Randhir : May I have the pleasure to dance with the beautiful lady who is luckily my date tonight???
His this statement totally caught her off guard whereas he was enjoying her expressions.
Sanyukta : Are you like for real???
Randhir chuckles.
R : I didn't know you dream about me. Of course Sanyukta i am for real you yourself announced for the paper dance for couples.
S : And are you like okay with it???
R : Shouldn't I be???
S (frown) : No... Yes... Uhh.. I don't know. Come let's dance.
Randhir thought "Thank God we are leading somewhere... Atleast we had a small talk... Now i will ask for an apology and we will be friends again."
Sanyukta thought "Did he drink or something... Why the hell is he acting so weird?? Forget it Sanyu... You forgot or what... 'Men are complicated creatures' don't stress your brain on them and it's just a dance."
Soon the game began and all the couples were on the dance floor as soon as the music would stop they had to shorten the paper and judges were present to have a look on them.
Randhir had a piercing gaze on Sanyukta but she was looking everywhere except him which was irking him so he thought of starting a short conversation with her and then apologize.
Soon the music stopped and they got more closer.
R : Nice party it is... You guys have done great arrangements.
S : Thanks.
R : The venue is also too beautiful.
S : Thanks.
R : You are a donkey.
S : Thanks... Hey.. Wait.. What the hell!!
R : Well.. No offence but I knew you weren't listening so tried our age old trick.
S : You remember??
R : I remember everything Sanyukta... From how we met first to how we became friends and how we fell apart because of me.
S : Hmm..
R : I am sorry!!
S : Why now???
The music stopped and they got more closer.
R (whispers) : Because it was my fault.. I was being a douchebag and instead of facing everything together like friends do i started keeping distance from you. Thinking it would be a good way to escape all this both for you and me. I seriously shouldn't have done that.
S : Hehe.
R : What's so funny???
S : Oh come on do we see everyday the great Randhir Singh Shekhawat calling himself a douchebag and apologizing??
R : Yeah.. Seems you are one from the lucky squad.
S : Yeah.. Yeah.
R : So.. Umm.. Can we be friends again?? Please say a yes.
S : Of course we can be Randhir. I have no grudges against you. Though the age old tuning and trust would now take much time.
R : Thank you so much.. And about tuning and trust don't worry I will get them as soon as possible. (Winks)
S : Okay... Then Mr. Shekhawat All the best to you for it.
R : Thank you mam (grins)
They continue to play the game and soon only Parth, Vidushi, Randhir and Sanyukta were left. Sanyukta looked at them and smiled and knowingly kept her leg outside to make them win.
R (frowns) : Hey.. You did it on purpose.
S : No. I didn't.
R : Yes... You did.
S : Okay.. I did but don't tell it to them.
R : But why you did so.. I play to win.
S : Do you see that smile on their face??
R : Yes.. Because they think they won.
S : Yes... You know Vidushi since start had wanted to win the Miss Prom Queen Tag and winning this game would lead her closer to it.. And Parth is happy because she is... And the smile on their face is our win atleast mine because they had been with me through out my tough times and that's what friendship is for so this is how I would like to repay them by seeing smiles on their face so that's the least i could. (Smiles)
R : Now.. I understand. Thanks for telling me this. (Smiles)
Randhir thinks "But Sanyukta I would like to see you win that title and I will try my level best."
