Recap : I begin watching a video, it doesn't have sound. Just a 10 second video. A video sent by an unknown. A 10 second video that has changed my thoughts, that has broke me, that has broken my heart.

Jackie's POV :

I watched the video, I broke tears falling from my eyes. I was shocked, I was mad, I was sad, I was broken. After watching the video I clenched my phone tight, I read the messages that followed the video.

"I'm sorry, I was walking by and recorded. Sorry to say I'll be sending this to the media. He's a dick and he deserves the humiliation." The message said

I re watched the video not believing what I had just watched.

It began again, it was Jaden and Kylie inside her car Jaden leaned in Kylie leaned in, they kissed. My boyfriend cheated on me with my best friend.

I let the tears flood out of my eyes and I begin crying. My hand over my mouth trying to stop my loud cries.

A body sits next to me rapidly wrapping their arms around me, Justin. I look at him and I sob into his shirt.

"Jackie, what's wrong?" He asks with worry in his voice

"Why me Justin?" "Why?" I ask crying hysterically into his shirt.

"What do you mean, baby your scaring me" he says pulling my face away from his shirt

But I place my head back in his chest.

"Sweetie what's wrong?" Pattie budges in

"Everything is wrong, w-why m-me?" I ask continuing to cry

"Baby what's wrong? Tell me please. I'll make it all better. I promise" Justin says

I move my face out of his chest and look at him "You can't fix it!" I rub my eyes "you can't do anything about it!" I say crying again into his chest

"Honey you have to tell us what's wrong" Pattie says with concern

I pull away again and snatch my phone from the couch and press play in the video and give it to her, my hands shaking.

I was scared.

I was lonely.

I was lost.

A few seconds later Pattie looked up from my phone and sighed giving me and Justin a sympathetic look.

I cry into Justin's chest, again.

"Why, why would h-he do this to m-me? D-did I do s-something w-wrong?" I ask crying my eyes out

I see Pattie hand Justin my phone from the corner of my eye.

A few seconds later Justin sighs.

I cry harder.

"W-why daddy? Why me? Of all people, w-why?" I ask crying

Soon my phone was being passed around the room, everybody was watching the video. Everybody knows.

"I don't know, I don't know why. But I know it's going to be okay at the end, hold tight baby don't blame yourself. It isn't your fault" he says cradling me in his arms


"Everything isn't alright! That's bullshit" I cry

"Shh, Shh baby" he continues cradling me in his arms

"Daddy, I-I'm going upstairs. I w-want to sleep" I cry

He lifts me up and takes my phone and carries me up too my room and lays me in my bed.

Before leaving he kisses my forehead and whispers into my ear

"Everything's going to be alright"

I hope so.

If not, I don't know what I'll do.

I lay in my bed, been doing this for about 20 minutes. I could hear whispers downstairs, I couldn't hear but I know they're talking about me.

My phone buzzes.

I grab it and read the text.

From Jaden 😘

: Hey baby, I'll be there in 5 can't wait too see you :)

I mentally scoff. Puhlease. I forgot I had plans with Jaden today.

Wait. Justin is going to see Jaden come upstairs... That can't happen.

I immediately text him back

To Jaden 😘

: Go through the back door then up the stairs. Don't ask, we need to talk. Make sure NOBODY sees you.

I reply and get an instant reply

From Jaden 😘

: But why?

To Jaden 😘

: Explain later.

I sit in bed, then I remember.

I go to my mirror and look at my reflection.

Puffy red eyes.

I grab a hair band and tie my hair into a ponytail.

I sit on my bed and hear my door creak open

"Jackie?" A familiar voice ringed my ears, Jaden.

"Hey" I reply

He looks at me carefully taking in every detail

"Baby, what's wrong?" He asks approaching me

I get off my bed and step away.

"Why?" I ask looking at him deep in the eyes

"What do you mean?" He asks

I throw my phone on the bed, all he had to do was press play and he'd be watching what had been repeating in my head over and over.

He looks at my phone then at me.

He picks up the phone and in matter of seconds he looks up with soft eyes.

"Baby- I-I didn't, I didn't mean too. I swear!" He yells the last part

So it was real.

I look at him and shake my head crying.

"W-why?" I ask again

"Baby please hear me out-" he says but I shake my head

"WHY WOUOD YOU DO THAT!?" I ask "SHES MY BEST FRIEND! YOU CHEATED ON ME WITH MY BEST FRIEND!" I yell

He walks closer to me, his eyes getting watery.

"Baby I didn't mean too, I'm so sorry. I love you so much-" but I cut him off

I push him and start punching his chest and kicking him.

"DONT SAY YOU LOVE ME! YOUR SUCH AN ASSHOLE!" I yell

"Baby please-" he starts

"NO, YOU CHEATED! I HATE YOU" I could tell the last words stung him but it was true

"IM SORRY BABY, I DIDNT MEAN TO. IT WAS A MISTAKE" he yells shaking his head back and forth trying to hold in tears but failing

"CHEATING ISNT AN OPTION! ITS A CHOICE. I HATE YOU AND YOUR CHOICE!" I yell continuing to push you

He looks at me with soft eyes

"Baby, please stop" he says softly

"Get out" I say looking away

"Don't, please. Let me fix this" he says

"NO! GET OUT" I yell looking at him

But he shakes his head no. Guess were doing this the hard way

I walk away downstairs, I knew he'd follow me. And yes it worked he followed me al the way downstairs. Everybody saw and their eyes widened when they saw Jaden.

I grabbed Jaden's wrist and pulled him to the door

"GET OUT" I yell once more

I heard footsteps coming our way

"NO I LOVE YOU, PLEASE BABY PLEASE NO, PLEASE" he yells shaking his head while crying

"GET OUT JADEN!" I yell pushing him to the door

He finally gets out. I look at him once more, his eyes red. He was now feeling my pain.

I slammed the door on his face and lean on the door and slide down to the floor and begin crying.

Why would he do this too me?

Why would Kylie do this to me?

Why were they in the car together in the first place?

Sure, they were friends before I came along. By why would they hook up just as I was dating Jaden?


I look up and see a worries Justin coming my way.

I wrap my arms around his neck and sob.

Letting every emotion out of my system, every drop of tear I contained.

Until everything slowly darkened. My eyes closing, too heavy to even open.
